New Poll shows Tea party more popular than Republican Party

The Good Reverend just took this opportunity to show off his bbq....

Always worth it, you do have good food porn

Neat idea, Rev

Fewer calories, let's say 500 per meal (three meals a day of around 500, plus drinks and snacks will quickly put a person over the top for daily calories). I came in at around $6.50/meal for my hypothetical chicken thighs, carrots, brown rice and milk (buried somewhere back there, lol) for three people. But that was with leftover rice and milk

Oh, wait, you mean actually cook it? Okay, that could be fun. I'll get back to you in a few days though (already set for the next couple days - we do leftovers, unlike you foodies  ).

I say under $10 for three, cuz I told Disney that was really easy to do. Let's see if it actually is, with meals from different parts of the country.

Balanced, nutritious, and calorically sufficient, right? :2wave:

Honestly,

I think the Republican party is a joke. The current party supports attacks on the rights of Veterns (Nazi HOA from Virginia) and has members like Sara Palin (A goose-stepper if there ever was one).

The far right is responsible for the receission (We can thank Adolf Bushler and Joseph Cheney-Goebbels for removing the legal safeies that would have prevented the recession)

The American people are tired of right-wing greed-mongers on Walstreet, the idiot Republicans that ran the country during the Bush administration and they are sickend by the idea of another Republican president allowing more of the same.

This country wants a break from the Republican sponsored greed and rape of the American public by Republican owned big businesses.

Republicans are responsible for the current condition of this country and they do not even have the courage to admit it.

A fair point. There is a lot of finger pointing; however, when the **** hit the fan Republicans were at the helm and that says a great deal about who is responsible.

Well, wait a minute. When the initial melt down started taking place true enough that republicans were in majority in house and senate, however, the demo's were standing in the way of nearly every attempt to reign in out of control entities like Fannie and Freddie. A good clip to watch is here:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs&feature=player_embedded"]YouTube- Shocking Video Unearthed Democrats in their own words Covering up the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Scam that caused our Economic Crisis[/ame]

Then the demo's took over in '06 on the promise of cleaning up what they themselves had helped in creating, with calls for more open transparency, and a new era of ethics. What'd we get? not only the same BS but on steroids.

You think the demo's now care what their constituents think, or want? Take a look at what the people are screaming, and then justify what demo's like Pelosi say on any given subject, it doesn't match. These fascists are going to do what they want, people be damned.

Actually folks it's time for all of us to go and read what James Madison wrote in the 10th Federalist Papers.

that would work.

oh and i do leftovers.... sometimes.

1. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae have helped countless Americans get a good education.

2. Republicans tried to crush the loans given to college students because they do not believe they should have to pay for it. **** them. Title 4 funds are here to stay whether the goose-steping righties like it or not.

The dems had to prevent right wing stupidity and silly elitest morons from making difficult for poor people to go to college.

As to your next point; yes, you are correct. Neither the Dems nor the Rep-nazis give a damn about the people. However, the dems were willing to provide assistance to the people. The right-nazis were not.

demand OUR Country back from these Charletons.

The Charletons? From down the block? But they're such a nice couple, I can't imagine them taking over the country.

So, you're encouraging the creation of a Conservative party to replace the GOP? What is it that you're hoping to gain by that, exactly?

The complete, utter, and total fragmentation of the Republican Party.
We may end up similar to Italy with many political parties, and where little ever gets done.
Who is the "leader" of the GOP?
Dr No?:rofl

You should really read the original posts that started this ridiculous topic. DD said you could feed three kids at McDonalds for $3. I said you could feed them a nutritious meal at home for $3. I'll stand by my statement. A grilled chicken salad is just one of many choices for a cheap, nutritious meal.

Just for fun, I checked at the grocery store this weekend:

Bag of mixed Romaine salad: $2.28 (three servings per bag)
Chicken breasts: $6.50/3 lb. bag ($0.54 per 4 oz serving)
Peppers: $1.78 per bottle ($0.05 per serving)
Olives: $1.28 per can ($0.07 per serving)
Salad dressing: $1.69 per bottle ($0.20 per serving)

It's a little more than I originally thought, but still a hell of a lot better meal than a single cheeseburger. I seriously doubt you could get a kid to just eat a cheeseburger for a meal. Mine always insisted on french fries to go along with it.

Would you rather your kid ate a cheeseburger from McDonalds or a grilled chicken salad??? Never mind, I think I know your preference.

Try and keep up next time.

If you clicked on the links I posted, they would take you directly to the recipes I mentioned.
