Never let a crisis go to waste

Prove they're designed as weapons without reference to the fact they can be used as weapons. Understand this is a categorical claim you're making, and you have also not defined your terms.
I will present my arguments using the rules as I see fit.

Yes the dunning Kruger effect this is why flat Earth exists.

How did you prove them wrong the more steadfast they will be in their beliefs. Then they get angry when you call them irrational

I don't know why he just doesn't tell us Jesus designed cars and Satan designed guns. That's about the extent of his argument.

See? Your own standards of rationality. You think you can make a categorical claim that can't be falsified by a single contrary example.

Exactly. The dead children don't have any greater value than the bugs you squash in your highway travels. You have to ignore them, to avoid the fact that they die by the thousands because you won't accept a couple rules that would be personally inconvenient for you.

All those dead people and dead children...just collateral death. Sacrificed to your petroleum fueled God.

Clever.

Congratulate @Slartibartfast. It's his- and quite a few others- who came up with that argument. They really end up hating it. Some are so embarrassed they abandon it or try to change it. Some probably really don't see what the big deal is about 50,000 preventable deaths.

Exactly it's an object you can use to do something with whether you use it to stab your teacher's eye out or write a sonnet is entirely up to you and has nothing to do with the object.
I guess that's why there's always so many mass pencil killers 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Guns and motor vehicles are more suitable for mass murder, to respond factually to your facetious reply.

Your posts would have more weight if you include about ten times as many emojis. You should start doing that.

And yet guns seem to be the preferred weapon of people who want to commit mass murder. Probably because they couldn't find a spatula! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Yes pencils didn't magically possess the mind of the user but guns do.
Guns seem to attract the same user that desires to slaughter people en mass, and quickly. Weird they don't associate pencils with that. 😆😆😆

The New Orleans guy should have used that argument.

That Ford Lightning is just so technologically advanced with its computers and AI and stuff...it just decided to run all those people over and wasn't shit I could do about it!

Trucks, SUVs and vans too.

Is it legitimately your perception that people are arguing that inanimate objects come to life? If yes, then I'd suggest that's an education problem. If no, then...well...sounds kind of like you're being dishonest.

Gotta be one for the other. I'll let you confirm which.

That's why there are hundreds of millions of mass shooters?
Is that the criteria? There needs to be hundreds of millions? The argument is guns are the most effective murder tool at killing, and killing multiple people quickly. You seem to at least be honest about that point. Or have you flip flopped again like @RF667799?

How else am I supposed to take it when so often the anti gun zealots literally claim that guns kill people? I've tried correcting them that it's actually people using guns...and knives, cars, etc...that kill people. The gun/knife/car was the means that the person used. That's what we would say to be accurate and assuming accuracy is desirable. Joe Blow murdered John Doe using a gun. We all know that guns can be used to kill. (And knives, cars..well you know.)

Yet they absolutely find it necessary to persist in the baby talk.

So tell me why?

You already told that lie. Try to come up with a new one. I would never knowingly make such an obviously false categorical claim.

No one has made that argument. Do you believe other adults's argument is that inanimate objects are coming o life and murdering people? My argument is you purposely frame it that way to avoid speaking to any argument because you personally just can't.

@Slartibartfast asked in this very thread: "You don't think weapons kill people?"

No I don't. Do you, Brad Dad?

Do you believe other adults's argument is that inanimate objects are coming o life and murdering people? My argument is you purposely frame it that way to avoid speaking to any argument because you personally just can't.

I believe it is purposely framed in baby talk. When given the opportunity for accuracy, it is often rejected. That tells me the baby talk is important to gun control zealots.

So why is it important?

Is that the criteria?
Well if the gun makes them do it it would likely be more common right?
There needs to be hundreds of millions?
How about 1% why isn't there a million? Mass shootings for as common as guns are seen to be an extraordinary rare event statistically speaking
The argument is guns are the most effective murder tool at killing,
Stupid arguments are stupid.

Thank you for doing that. We couldn't have maintained these rights if you presented functional arguments.
What we do on this forum has no effect in the real world. This is just a game we play to amuse ourselves.
