Mentally deranged people should be committed. That makes them a prohibited person and then they can’t buy a gun. Simple, isn’t it. The problem is that the left don’t want the mentally deranged like Robert Westman to be committed.

So....it certainly does seem our reality is this: people who need mental health treatment ARE able to purchase guns, and do so legally.

For certain questions, yes. Per capita murder rate for a given city is the best way of assessing personal risk in a city, for example.

But what you are doing is trying to demonstrate that mass shootings are a primarily transgender-driven phenomenon, and you yourself admitted that there aren't many transgender people to begin with, which means the rate is going to be misleading.

For example, if a triple amputee midget shot up a school, triple amputee midgets would be represented as at least 33%.

So which group, in absolute numbers, has committed the most mass shootings? Because I'm willing to bet it isn't transgender people, so this is not a transgender-driven phenomenon.

When it comes to the standard demographic breakdown of race, they're all represented pretty much in line with their proportion of the population at large.

By sex, it's overwhelmingly males. As with most murderers.
