Netanyahu is a hedonist and possibly even corrupt, he's certainly no murderer, he never ordered the deliberate killing of any innocent.

That's a little like a neighbor bombing his next door neighbor's house knowing full that he had six kids, then claiming he didn't mean to kill the kids. Of course he meant to kill the kids or worse, he didn't even care. If he had any conscience at all, he wouldn't have done it to begin with. Netanyahu is a murderer and a thief that promotes and executes immoral acts. We have no business supporting him or his horrible retinue, and the sooner we get out from under him and his murderous, repugnant cabinet, the better

Netanyahu only orders the targeting of terrorists and the IDF only targets terrorists in accordance with international law. That's not murder.

You seem to wish to pretend that civilians dying in a war while not being targeted is murder, but that's simply echoing the terrorists' propaganda, it's not really sensible.

I'll add that if you cared for the civilians lives you'd probably oppose Hamas and blame them for their deaths, as they are the sole cause. Israel cannot simply not react and target terrorists, and there's no indication that it could do more than it currently does to minimize civilian casualties.

Yes it is murder. Look, you can't argue the facts on that basis unless you're a complete savage, which you're not. You've been just as privy to the footage as I have. Tens of thousands of women and children were murdered. He knew full well that was the situation. The innocents were considered nothing, as in "disposable." That's immoral and reprehensible. Netanyahu belongs at the Hague on trial for war crimes, as does his advisers

I have no idea regarding the number of innocent deaths in Gaza and neither do you. Hamas doesn't say how many terrorists it lost and its civilian death tolls are not really believable.

What we need to agree on is that civilians dying in a war isn't automatically murder, especially not when the other side is defending its own civilian population in such a clear manner.

You've been listening to too much Israeli propaganda. What happened is so vicious that the entire world is aghast. I'm sorry that you have no clue as to what moral military conduct entails, but what YOU witnessed vis a vis actual footage - because I'm sure you saw it - isn't it

It has not much to do with Israel. If you believe every civilian dying in a war is a murder, you also believe every nation that engaged in a war is a nation of murderers automatically.

Unfortunately a lot of propaganda causes weaker minds, especially from the far-left, to adopt the position of Islamist terrorists.
But it makes zero sense to consider it murder when a country tries to avoid civilian casualties and defends itself legitimately.

Hamas is not responsible for the conduct of the IDF. Let me put this bluntly: I don't want my tax money going to a murderous bastard or support the acts of a murderous bastard. My taxpayer money doesn't go to "Hamas." It does, however, go to an immoral, murderous regime in Israel and I resent it. More to the point, I want a full cut off of the funding because my nation is supposed to have a moral threshold. And if it doesn't, it's because we have immoral leadership, so we need a change of governance here, too. Trump now has a clear picture of what Israel is. He has children of his own, and grandchildren. He needs to show some moral integrity or be ousted

I lean conservative, always have. This isn't about the left or the far-left. This is about fundamental moral conduct in a world of 8.2 billion. Israel cannot eradicate Hamas on this basis. Israel was founded by displacing 750,000 people illegitimately. These people need a state of their own and financial help to do so, as compensation for what was an egregious act

Hamas is a terrorist organization hiding behind its own civilian population trying to maximize their deaths for propaganda values amongst far-left extremists in the West, antisemites, etc.
It is the sole party responsible for any civilian deaths in a war between a terror organization and a nation that attempts to minimize civilian casualties and rightfully goes after a terror group that threatens its civilian population with murder, rape, kidnapping, etc.

Civilians dying in a war does not automatically make it murder.
The US and its allies killed over 400,000 civilians in Afghanistan and Iraq. Do you find it somehow to be different?

There are far more far-left extremists in the West who associate themselves automatically with dictatorships, antisemites, terrorists, etc. due to these factions being enemies of the West and specifically of Israel, than there are moderate left/center/right wingers who do so. I'll add that far-right extremists tend to hate Jews as well but for other reasoning.

And Israel's founding included surviving an attempt to ethnically cleanse all Jews from the land - do you recognize that?

750,000 weren't displaced, most of them have fled or evacuated due to orders given by invading Arab nations' forces intending to ethnically cleanse the Jews.
Israel has 17-18% of its population as Israeli Arabs to this day exactly because it didn't ethnically cleanse Arabs after it survived the attempt to ethnically cleanse the Jews.
By the way Arab nations don't have many Jews living in their territories due to another ethnic cleansing of Jews that followed there.

The behavior is similar, regardless of your posturing. Slaughtering women and children is a genocidal act if it is done en masse and it was. Of all the people on earth today who should be sensitive to the issue, it should be the Israelis as inhabitants of a self-declared Jewish nation born as a refuge from this kind of behavior. And trying to accuse me of antisemitism is the typical posturing of a person celebrating violence through the justification of genocidal acts, so obviously I'm not interested in your bizarre rationalizations. There is no excuse for killing and starving women and children. It's disgusting
