Netanyahu ‘spat in our face,’ White House officials said to say[W:223]

So if you're a devout Christian you can't be antsemetic? Tell that to the KKK who consider themselves pure Christians. Sadly I've met a fair number of Christians that despise the Jews.

c'mon
it's not like the jewish-hating KKK goes around burning the Christian religious symbol

nevermind

I am aware of those.
Reason we have to at least negotiate.
Other than that the other end is extended sanction, which I agree with or bombing Iran.
And that would only slow things down.

Truthfully we have negotiated....Iran needs to agree to all conditions come March. Any continuance.....then sanctions need to go back into full effect. Until they comply.

Iran's ballistic missiles have been tied to its nuclear-weapons program. Security Council Resolution 1929 "decides that Iran shall not undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles capable of delivering nuclear weapons."[147] In May–June 2014 a U.N. Panel of Experts submitted a report pointing to Iran's engagement in ballistic missile activities. The Panel reported that over the last year Iran has conducted a number of ballistic missile test launches, which were a violation of paragraph 9 of the resolution.....snip~

hi Pol...I'm pretty sure that no one actually expelled spittle at anyone else..heh, heh....However, the childish, arrogant, and uncouth comment put forward by staffers in this administration shows how vitriolically they feel about Netanyahu, and this type of characterization of a close ally should be frowned upon by people of both political parties and everyone in between that has a functioning brain, and rational thought processes. Sadly though, too many at least in here not only agree with the comment, but seems like they would love to go further...I find it disheartening.

The negotiation are till end June/july are they not??
No issue with increased sanctions. Just guessing but they would pass quickly.

I think you are reading more into Netanyahu's intentions by accepting the invitation from Congress. He did not ask, he was asked by the majority leadership in Congress.
Second. Netanyahu has already the overwhelming support of the people of Israel in the upcoming election. He doesn't need to visit the U.S. Congress to garner such a thing as if this would give him the political edge. He doesn't need to do such a thing.
Third. What Netanyahu is seeking is for Congress to be successful in thwarting Obama's continued "negotiations with Iran" solely for the purpose of protection for his country.

While I am sure the administration was peeved, that quote seems suspect.

Menendez the Democrat says no later than March.....Legislation is in the Senate this week. Graham and Cotton will push it forward so that BO has some understanding of what is taking place. Despite his threat of veto.

Again.....Rubio has told the AP they have the Votes to override.

Israel is more of a pet project than an ally in any meaningful sense of the term. We don't benefit from the relationship and not everyone believes that the proper role of the United States Congress is to serve as a stepping stone for Bibi's political ambitions.

Why do you ask such a silly question? Didn't you read what you quoted?

(Sheepishly) Umm. No. Rushing through a bunch of work at that moment.

No he does not have the overwhelming support you speak of. Reason why they are always - nearly always coalition Govts. Last I read he was being hammered on cost of living. It then became a top issue for him, why after about 8 years. This has been a problem in Israel for many years.

If they override the Veto the President still has the ability to block or slow down does he not?

Cost of living has gone up for the average Israeli due to the amount the government has to put into means to keep it safe due to the relentless number of attacks on the country thanks to the number of terrorist groups that Iran funds. It is also being hammered on cost of living due to the influx of Jews coming to Israel to flee persecution. They have been pouring out of the Soviet Union where anti-Semitism has been dominant for years and other places where anti-Semitism is on the rise including Europe. The people know why the cause.

Nope.....nothing BO peep can do if they override his veto. Except live with the defeat.

Rubio has no clue as to what he's talking about.

Just as with his backtracking on his Dream Act.

The traitorous/treachorous TEA clowns will be at the Koch primary on Sunday--Rubio, Cruz, Paul and Walker--proving once again that politics doesn't stop at the water's edge with these TEA unPatriotic sKkkum .

When you play the game of "follow the leader," it's usually best to make up your own mind whether it's the best thing for you to do. In nature, lemmings follow a leader who leads them off a cliff to their death. There's a reason for that - it is an instinctual reaction to controlling over population when food sources are diminishing. Humans are supposed to be smarter than animals, though, but sometimes I do wonder about that...

Which won't happen .

Here I just got done showing this....I wouldn't want ya to say you was never told. That it was kept as a secret from you.

Considering it is you. I will expect some reading and weeping.

Cotton: Congress Would Repeal Bad Iran Deal in Next Administration.....

Sen. Tom Cotton (R., Ark.) warned the Obama administration on Tuesday that Congress will hold a vote on any final deal on Iran’s nuclear program—and, if unable to prevent the president from lifting sanctions on Iran, would work with the next administration to re-impose them.

The measure garnered 59 co-sponsors in the last Congress, and some reports suggest that it could be close to acquiring a 67-vote veto-proof majority this year.

“The surest way to preserve peace is to prepare for war,” he said. “Thus, it may be up to Congress to restore the credible threat of force.”....snip~

Obama sets the world ablaze and my loyalties are in question?

:lamo

Sure, ok there buddy...

No actually your contempt for this country and the CiC is so obvious the logical choice is for you to quit mooching and relocate where your favor lies. Btw you might want to be more discreet on what you post elsewhere on the net. It shows your true colors.

and building those illegal settlements on the land of another people is quite an expensive undertaking, too

Hello Polgara

Here you go.

Thank you. I have read that China will sell anything to anyone who is willing to pay, but I didn't know they were also "middlemen" buyers when it suited them!

So much anger. So much hatred. So little sense.

There. No you can go back to your regularly scheduled rant...

Overwhelming support? What planet do you live on?
