Good news. Title IX is back, and women will have equal opportunities in sports. If men want to play in sports, they will need to compete against other men. The fever is finally breaking on this particular madness of the crowds."Today, the NCAA announced the Board of Governors voted to update the Association's participation policy for transgender student-athletes following the Trump administration's executive order," the collegiate athletic association said in a statement posted to its website. "The new policy limits competition in women's sports to student-athletes assigned female at birth only."
Absolutely, men are born bigger, stronger and more powerful than women.Good news. Title IX is back, and women will have equal opportunities in sports. If men want to play in sports, they will need to compete against other men. The fever is finally breaking on this particular madness of the crowds.

This clearly is a very important issue for you. Hopefully you’re able to sleep well at night now.Good news. Title IX is back, and women will have equal opportunities in sports. Goodness! Get out there and meet some women! They are over half the population!OK.
I'm fine with it, as it should be imho, but the fact is this will not remotely affect me....nor will it affect anyone I know.
Absolutely! It should have been! Terrible waste of time and energy that it got to that point. This should be handled by sports organizations, such as the NCAA as in this example. And not by bloviating politicians. IMO.
And we're back to the bloviating politicians.Gosh I'm ready to move on to something more important. Citizens United? Healthcare? Making billionaires pay tax?
The left has made it into a big issue, obsessing over boys and girls bathrooms. This clearly is a very important issue for you. Hopefully you’re able to sleep well at night now.
I’ve always been amazed at how much attention we on this site give issues that only affect a handful of people while ignoring those issues that affect most of us. If I had my druthers, only women would participate in woman’s sports, not men who turned themselves into a woman. But I wasn’t bothered by having them participate in woman’s sports. I thought that a bit stupid, but hey, stupid things happen all the time. I agree, we should be paying much more attention to issues that affect most of us, not just a handful.OK.

It would not be possible to "weaponize an issue" merely by taking a position you describe as sensible, unless there were a lot of people willing to fight like hell for the nonsensical side of the issue. It’s the sensible thing to do. Unfortunately, the right wing has decided to weaponize the issue (typical).
Its leftist like Harris, who lost, who are obsessed with queers and the like. It’s the sensible thing to do. Unfortunately, the right wing has decided to weaponize the issue (typical). We know they don’t care about fairness for women and have been trying to undo title IX since its inception.

Trump simply cleaned up some of the mess.

Fortunately the sensible position won.
Firstly, I don’t like sports. I find all of them boring and uninteresting so I don’t really care about this personally one way or the other. Why are so many leftists going down the road of “It is not important and should not be addressed”?
Clearly this is an important issue for you because you replied to the thread.
Not really though. The left has made it into a big issue, obsessing over boys and girls bathrooms.
I don't necessarily care all that much, I think sports could easily have said that mens/womens leagues are divided on sex, not gender and have been done with it.
But I don't think Trump has the power to issue the EO demanding it. The call has to be made by the sports franchise such as the NCAA doing it here.
