Speaking of counting, our brains seem to be hard-wired with a limit to what we can instantly recognize as a specific quantity. If we, for example, see three flowers on a rose bush, we instantly recognize them as 'three'. The same holds for four, and perhaps five. Somewhere around 6 or 7, though, things get fuzzy. By 9, we no longer 'see' the number of objects in the group. If we look at two groups of coins, one of which contains 11 coins and the other 12 coins, we can't even say which group is larger.

We're marvelous, intricate creatures, we h. sapiens. Alexander Pope had it right many years ago when he penned:

Feel good anecdotes that have little to do with anything.

When your posts carry on with a lack of substance, you no longer walk the higher road.

Like I said, you are projecting your hypocrisy, yet claiming a subtle tact.

Whatever level of persuasion along the lines of reality you think you are or achieving, is but dust in the wind, and long winded.

Just calling it how it is.

The Nazis were known for this same tactic.

That they want to run the country. And any attempt to stop them by law enforcement is evidence of a deep state persecuting the poor dears.

I couldn’t agree more. Meeting in the middles with fill the gap, but both sides need to participate. It’s not a one way street.

I would be happy with anyone who doesn’t laugh at and get a bump into the polls every time he talks about criminal - like shooting desperate asylum seekers at the border or ripping young children away from their moms as a terror tactic.
