Yeah. It's called the Geneva Convention. (You don't have to like it. I sure don't. But 'dem be the rules as far as our military is concerned on how to treat prisoners.)
I agreed with you up until that bit about "the Messiah" and the preceived conviction.
Of course you realize that was a great recruiting tool for Charlie don’t you?
What American enemies on our own soil?
I'll apologize I'm being a jerk. I take back some of what I said. I havent studied enough to know much about how trade would be in the world without the United States Military. I'll be getting on that in the next semester or so.
You mean the US media was on the side of the VC?
The media considers itself a watchdog,
No, what I meant was what I said. What’s your expertise in Viet Nam, were you their, if so what years? :2wave:
So what do you think we should do when the military does something like Abu Gharib? Just give them a free pass? Just ignore it?
And what do you think would happen if our media didn't publicize Abu Gharib?
Part of the problem is that the soldiers requested the court marshal. This is part of why I say that things don't add up right with the details known, and there is something going on we don't know about.
So I suspect you also agree that rule of law should be waived in this case?
Democrats and all other socialists.
This is why no one takes you serious.
You should drop out of college for a couple years and join the Marines.
That'll fix the errors in your world view and you'll grow a spine, too.
No, International political economics will do more for my worldview than bonding with rednecks with no education.
Also, as a socialist, under a socialist government, your inability to comply pleases me and I look forward to your rights being stripped from you.
HAW HAW!!:rofl
(its fo real. yup)
You should recall what Dean Wormer said to Flounder.
Yes, that's what we expect from socialists.
It's why we're not letting go of our guns.
Since you don't want to rub shoulders with Americans, where are you going to learn to shoot to defend your socialist lack-of-ideals?
Yes, that's what we expect from socialists.
It's why we're not letting go of our guns.
This is why no one takes you serious.
LOL it was a joke too. A serious response to a joke? I postulate what you believe is a joke, your affection for guns as some sort of protection against potential oppressive government is a joke,
your political insanity in the face of a popularly elected government is a joke,
your comparison of our leaders to fascist and communist megalomaniacal dictators of our past enemies is a joke,
and not to mention offensive to true victims of communism and fascism.
Are the sons of the victims of communism and fascism in the east and europe pouring out love for you and your 'freedom'
No.Nope.No way. Ever wonder why?
I was in the army for a bit, this country certainly needs free higher education to raise the quality of its soldiers. Thats all I have to say.:2razz:
You're siding with the terrorists.
Not that it's anything unusuall. Your Messiah is giving them the opportunity to have a Defense by Diatribe in New York.
I'm an American, have been all my life.
Since you're obviously not an American, from what basis are you whining about freedom?
If siding with Rule of Law is "siding with the terrorists", so be it. Rule of Law is the foundation this country was founded on, more than any other factor. I hope that they get off for something like this, but if it violates the USMJ, so be it. Those are the rules. I'm sorry, but you're arguing against the basis of all republicanism if you argue against Rule of Law in all situations.
