Ouch. Is it any wonder? Of course alarm bells are going off in front of 2026.

They refuse to switch gears and instead wallow in identity politics and always playing the victim.

Only 3 out of 10 have a favorable opinion of the Democrat Party.

But the Dems scream 'Dam the torpedoes'

Thirty percent of voters nationwide questioned in a Quinnipiac University survey said they have a favorable opinion of the Democratic Party, and 54% say they hold an unfavorable opinion.

Something to keep in mind the Democrats may be scrambling Republicans are not much better.

I think what's really happening here is The changing of the guard.

The Republican party is not what it was in 1982 not what it was in 2000 neither is the Democrats
 
I think the average voter, no matter party affiliation are sick and tired of the 'tit for tat' accusatory mindset of ALL of them. It's time to let it go and get back to work, like maybe balancing the budget, pass bills enhancing the lives of Americans and basically look/act like the leaders we voted for, instead of this insane rhetoric coming from them all.
 
How can any party have a good favorability rating when they are constantly perpetuating lies, hate, murder, and destruction like the Democrats are doing right now. The MAGA's are bad enough but the democrats have gone over the bend.

Head on over to Bluesky or " X " or Reddit if you want to see what hateful hypocrites they really are.

There is no peaceful middle ground when you are dealing with these people and it's best to avoid them at all costs.

The poll shows neither major party is liked much. Besides showing 30% favorable/54% unfavorable of the democratic party, it also shows the republican party at 38% favorable 51% unfavorable. Which tracks with an earlier YouGov poll which showed, Democratic Party 33% favorable/60% unfavorable with the Republican Party at 38% favorable/55% unfavorable.

That’s nothing to crow about from either major party. It’s kind of which major party to you view less evil or hate the least. Neither is beloved.

Other interesting topics in your Quinnipiac Poll:

PRESIDENT TRUMP - Thirty-eight percent of voters approve of the way Donald Trump is handling his job as president, while 54 percent disapprove.

DEMOCRACY - Voters 53 - 41 percent think that the system of democracy in the United States is not working.

POLITICAL DISCOURSE - A vast majority of voters (82 percent) think the way people talk about politics these days is contributing to violence in the United States, while 15 percent think it is not.

Once Trump is gone there is hope that republicans will become somewhat "normal" again. The democrat party however is hopeless. They are only going to keep moving left as the geezers leave and the youngins move in.

Once Trump is gone, one wonders if there will be a Republican Party at all. He's a genius at finding and exploiting bankrupt entities. The GOP is no exception.

Trump is too busy prosecuting his perceived enemies and the GOP is too busy trying to get a Kirk on currency and statues.

That is a fact!. I was done with them in 2013 which is why I fired the party in writing. John Boehner was a sell-out.

Not to mention the House who just sat on their hands. Oh, and don't get me started on that a$$hole McCain.
