Nasty man says what?

That is just the thing... I don't. I don't even like him a little bit. I am objective.

It would be great if others whining here could do the same.

That's the thing. Their love was so strong for Jim Jones they were willing to drink his kool aid.

That is just it... many weren't... that is why he had guys with guns there forcing them to drink.

“People think they willingly died,” she says, “but Jones gave them no choice. They were surrounded by a row of guards with crossbows, and then behind them there was another line of guards pointing guns. Meanwhile, Jones is exhorting them to come up and drink this potion to take them to the other side. So, living was never an alternative on that last night. Most people chose to die with their families, and if they didn’t drink it, there were many who were injected with the poison.”

Prior to November 18, there had been attempts to leave, Scheeres says. “Reading through the FBI files, there were many accounts of people running into the jungle, but Jones had them so afraid,” she says. “He told them that the jungles were full of mercenaries who wanted to kill them if they left Jonestown, that it was full of tigers and snakes that would eat them alive and with any dissidence, he would shoot them full of thorazine, which made them into zombies, and he would imprison people with drugs.”

How come nobody ever heard of that and why didn't they fight back?

How come nobody ever heard of that and

I have known about this for at least twenty years... probably more.

why didn't they fight back?

I guess because they thought that dying by poison was better than being chased down and shot... and they had their children there. Almost 1/3rd of the dead were children. How do you battle a bunch of guys with guns when you have nothing and your children are right there?

Oh please quit insulting our intelligence.

Care to do more than offer conjecture like she did, or will you merely post stupidity as well?

Sometimes there is nothing to say but to laugh. Your posts are hysterically ridiculous.

#354 I supplied one for a person that asked... you won't. Because you know I will defeat your lie.

My Lie? LOL.

In the kindest possible way....I have never seen you post anything resembling reality in your constant defense of Trump. If you want to learn Trump's actual words try doing a little research. It is very easy to keep up with the every day flip flops .... It almost seems you enjoy holding up the losing end, insisting that POTUS is a well meaning victim of everyone else on the planet. BE BEST!

Trump refers to another woman as 'nasty' -- this time the Danish PM

The Danish PM is lucky she won't have to be in the same room as Trump. But dayamn the irony of this vile petty man referring to anyone or anything else as nasty.

Another ally he is wrecking our relationship with -- because she wouldn't talk with him about the U.S. buying an autonomous territory?

We must end this travesty in 2020. We can't take 4 more years of him stomping on our nation and our alliances.

He said her statements were nasty.
why are you lying?

it is right there in your article.

I didn't lie. Posting a link to an article and including the headline of the article is not lying.

I went through this with Trix yesterday. Had quite enough. Not going to argue with you about it today.

Have a lovely night.

So you can't post anything but conjecture or anything less stupid than she posted?

This is your problem. We're not talking about everyday flip-flops. Or contradictions that he's made in the past. We are talking about this specific incident. This specific issue. But you guys can't focus on that. You're incapable of actually talking about the issue. Why? because you go and over things that you hate because you're filled with hatred and it consumes your logic until it does not exist any longer.

From Adderall? No not likely.
And by the way, not all drug addicts are delicate little flowers who just OD and die.
William S. Burroughs was a hardcore heroin user for nearly ALL of his eighty-three years.
Charles Bukowski was an unrepentant hardcore alcoholic who drank to unconscious stupor every day of his life until seventy-three and then still made it to eighty anyway.

Okay? Trump is just on the early side of his seventies so by that measure he's a "youngster".
The planet is crawling with old drunken Scotsmen who refuse to keel over no matter how much you fill them up with strong liquor and bad food.

You forgot the Irish, bless 'em. I went drinking with a bunch when I was in Co.Waterford a few years ago. That was a mistake.

When did I say, imply, or even hint at Greenland being advertised as being for sale? So, there will be no link forthcoming. As for the truck, it is called an analogy. Perhaps you have heard of them. Never-mind. I do not care if you have heard of them. The hubris you people possess makes it almost impossible to have a rational discussion because you are unable to even entertain the idea that you overreact to things the president does.

You said this:

Of course it was. I am sure it has nothing to do with an irrational and insane hatred for all things Donald Trump. I have had people offer to buy a truck I have in the driveway, even though it is not for sale. I did not tell them that it was absurd or stupid of them. I am not insane either, so there is that.

In response to my post that said this:

Because Greenland was not for sale. It was an absurd and stupid thing for Trump to suggest, as anyone with one quarter of a functioning brain knows.

That's where you said it was for sale.

Those 'charities' are probably churches. Did you ever see a poor pastor? Mercedes' aren't getting any cheaper.

I have already posted that link to how much churches give in the name of charity to poor people and the needy it was something like 4.2 to 4.4 billion dollars a year. Perhaps your bias against religion is harming your argument here.

You want to help me? Stop being racist.

Your posts are ignorant dribble. You just throw around stupid accusations based on nothing other than your own hatred. Perhaps if you could actually show something I've said that was racist a quote or something where I've actually talked about a race being superior or inferior to another you might have something. Instead you have nothing except your Petty anger as you shake your fists in the sky shouting to the heavens stupid s***.

The "Of course it was." was not in response to Greenland being for sale. This should have been obvious by the context within the rest of my statement. Especially since it was followed by me pointing out that your "absurd and stupid" accusation was a byproduct of your obsessive hatred of all things Trump. Add to that the fact that I made the analogy to the truck parked in my driveway that is NOT for sale yet has had people offer to buy it.

No, it wasn't obvious. My post was only about Greenland not being for sale, and Trump making a stupid ignorant comment (again).

The fact that you toss in that stupid "obsessive hatred of all things Trump" shows you are not being serious. Don't project your personal feelings towards others on me. You love Trump? Good for you. I can't hate someone I don't know. I don't have any "obsessive hatred of all things Trump". I'm a goddamn American, lifelong Republican who is repulsed by the mockery he is making of our country and the party I once supported with every fiber of my being.

I do not have any personal feelings, for you, anyone else on this site, or President Trump, so I cannot be projecting them. I do find your delusions somewhat amusing. You state that you cannot hate someone you do not know, then proceed to say hateful things about him. Not the first time either. Your hateful rhetoric leads me to believe you are not moderate, regardless of you being a "lifelong Republican." Anyone that supports a party with every fiber of their being is not rational, sorry to say.

When you accuse others of "hating" Trump it's because you are projecting your own love on to the rest of us. You defend Trump all the time because you love him. Obviously.

I've never said anything "hateful" about Trump. You're on the wrong board if you are not here to debate politics and read negative comments about the President. This isn't a garden party or a Trump Fan Club board.

Yeah, obviously.

I've never said anything "hateful" about Trump.

Oh, I am sure not.

You're on the wrong board if you are not here to debate politics and read negative comments about the President.

The problem is not reading negative comments about the president, it is reading the same ones over and over, ad nauseam.

This isn't a garden party or a Trump Fan Club board.

I am aware, and I do not want to be part of anything like that. Unfortunately, this place has become somewhat of a cesspool of rabid anti-Trump, lunatic leftists that spend the majority of their efforts here making this place unenjoyable to anyone that is not insane.
