Worse. So much worse. Dear God, unbelievably worse.
I thought he could be an okay president. He had made a few promises where if he followed through on them, he would have pulled the far right closer to a centrist position. I believed he actually would hire "the best people", or at least competent people. I thought he would bring good business sense to the cabinet meetings. Thought he would shed the clown act and be the competent businessman behind closed doors.
He has folded to the worst of the GOP. Not only breaking his promises on things like healthcare, but threatening people who refused to vote for the opposite of what he promised. And he's insane. Now I don't know how he managed to keep up the competent businessman persona before he was elected. Well, it helped that he had billions of dollars to throw around, so he if lost a little, he still had a lot and could pretend it was good business decisions which kept him in that bracket. And it helped that The Apprentice was highly edited and what ended up on the cutting room floor is locked up tight somewhere that we won't ever see it.
Basically, I didn't realize that he was a lunatic. But he really is. I knew from what did make it onto The Apprentice show that he was, shall we say, culturally insensitive. And ... oh well, I'll stop there and repeat that he's much much worse than I ever imagined someone who was able to wake up and go to work every day could possibly be.
