Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has been barred by a Roman Catholic bishop from receiving the Eucharist because of her support for abortion rights and continuing to refer to her Catholic faith in public.

Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco sent Pelosi a letter on Thursday informing her that he would prevent her from receiving the Catholic sacrament of Holy Communion because of her advocacy for abortion access.

YES.

She kneeled in the Capitol for a certain "movement."

She should never be forgiven.

So if she violated Church laws, then she should take her punishment like a woman.

If the GOP takes the House in November, her having to step down from the dais would be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

We already have like a 200 post thread on the topic

So?
Have you?
Any votes?
I don't make comments in duplicate threads, I think they are just attention whore threads.

I just make a comment the old threads are here.

Don't waste bandwidth.

And I still don't know what RGB or RBG or whatever is
RBG probably refers to Ruth Bader Ginsburg, former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.

RGB stands for Red Green Blue and is an additive color scheme used by some monitors and digital camera sensors to display or capture a color image.

Just because I graduated from a Catholic high school doesn't mean I any longer agree with the Church on all matters, BUT as trouble13 wrote: "It's their club and their rules."

Nancy Pelosi is not barred from taking communion. To say so is highly misleading. The Pope says politicians like Biden and Pelosi who support choice may take communion. A conclave of Catholic bishops wrote a paper supporting the Pope's position.

One bishop is refusing Pelosi communion despite established Church doctrine. She can take communion somewhere else. This is not a big deal.

Yes its okay. She claims to be catholic even though she know full well abortion is not okay to the Catholic church.

Yet the Pope has taken a stance against excommunicating politicians for their position on abortion.

No - it is NOT "their club" and "their rules".

The ONE HOLY APOSTOLIC AND CATHOLIC CHURCH (et Unam Sanctam Catholicam et Apostolicam Ecclesiam - in Latin and in the 4th case) is more and wider than just one stupid bishop.
