Key to the Cosmos
My Microcosm isn’t better than your Microcosm.
Should we not be concerned with the Macrocosm we share?
Victory doesn’t lie in an enemies defeat.
Victory lies as the spoils of war beneath your feet.
To install puppets is to show you don’t want that land,
You’re above it, and so they will disdain you.
To hold territories without transformation into states,
Is to truly deprive a people of a nation. Representation. Colonization.
Why? Why didn’t America Conquer like Rome?
55 States, including Philippines and Cuba.
Because we’re as Xenophobic as the last Tyrant we rebelled against,
Blood has not been shed to cleanse our Republic, the Tree of Liberty died slowly.
Welcome to New America, not like Old America,
Your future is slowly dwindling, and your children will be worse off.
Tyrants rule with Tyrants, the traitor lurks within,
Wealth and Greed in National terms will bring the People’s end.
Humanity’s gift and curse is our ability to Learn,
Therefore is it any wonder that Wealth is what we Yearn?
To choose Capitalism over Democracy is a fool’s poison,
Spread to us by anti-Socialist Propaganda – ‘there’s only one option’
Voting is our only voice in Government,
Yet our voice has gone hoarse,
Our cries for change and revolution,
Are silent.
You see, Politics is like the Free Market,
You let the ‘Business’ know what you want when you buy their product.
So why do we keep buying Sporks and Spam?
Take time to do your shopping, and never forget to feed your Nation.

So I totally realize I'm going to get critiqued both on the politics within and my lack of Poetic ability :mrgreen: 'sok though, it was a fun little write. Note: Most of my poetry actually rhymes I'm experimenting with stuff I guess.
