I'm in various forums online. They all are a mix of political leanings.
One thing that has different meanings to different people is the phrase "my body, my choice".
Some think it only applies to the topic of abortion, while others think it has a broader application.

What does the phrase "my body, my choice" mean to you?

It means I am the final arbiter of what goes into, or comes out of, my own body.

Yes, I do wish LSD was legal.

Nope.

Pretty universal in my support for individuals having bodily autonomy.

In fact, I’m of the mindset that it is foundational to the very notion of being free.
Wonder when those people will come along and assert that position.

According to our current government, it's your body but Donald's and RFK's choice. They will decide what medical care you are allowed to receive, what foods you are allowed to consume, what vaccines you are allowed to take.

That's weird and untrue. But lemme guess: you wanna talk about vaccines.

Lemme guess: you're about to defend the "right" of politicians to inject people with whatever chemical cocktail they think is good for the herd.

Lemme guess: you're gonna argue about vaccines while still insisting the government should be able to strap a woman down and force her to have a baby for 9 months.

Uh, no. Why would I argue for that?

Inb4 all the bullshit:

-Not a single person was forced to take the covid vaccine. You wanna complain the choice to not take it is too harmful to their lives, so sad, too bad. Life's filled with unpleasant decisions.
-If you don't wish your children to be vaccinated, home schooling is always an option. Your extreme anti community, anti science beliefs should not have a perch for absolutely anyone else.

And where have I expressed a desire to force folks to vaccinate? I'm actually pleased a lot of Republicans chose against it. Freed up a lot of parking spots out here in CA. ;)

Or it also means how we present our bodies, our appearance and our autonomy over it.

Where have I argued against a woman's right to an abortion?

No one was ever forced to take a vaccine.

We just saw a woman’s body forced to remain on artificial life support to grow a fetus to viability after she was brain dead.

There is a WILD difference between someone saying “if you don’t get this vaccine, you can’t work here or go to school here” and having the right to even DIE be stripped away from you by the government.
