These two assertions seem to be at odds with each other. That the questionable data "long after the laptop itself had been turned over to the FBI." makes the laptop and it' shard drive which the FBI has in their custody the master reference.

Rather unsurprising that a hard drive in use for years would 'be a mess' especially when the user was stoned out of his mind most of the time.

These are examinations of the copied data, as I posted, the copy of the data which is in FBI custody will be the legal reference, and will need to be provided to the defense in any legal court case.

We will find out in the fullness of time but the entire issue of the "duplicate drive" smells to the high heavens in many ways. My money is on there being no wrongdoing found on the part of Biden Sr and as far as Jr goes.....he is a scum bag so nothing would surprise me.

A candidate's relative, being indicted for tax issues vs a candidate himself being indicted for insurrection, stealing secret documents, using his office to try and cheat an election, bank fraud, attempting to interfere directly with Georgia's vote count, etc., etc., etc.

Yeah, Hunter's indictment could have a minor effect on Biden's campaign, but if the world is a fair place, there's no comparison between the two sets of indictments.
