Tech billionaire Elon Musk said Thursday President Trump would have lost the 2024 presidential race if it were not for him, escalating a feud that erupted earlier that day between the two former allies.

“Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate,” Musk said in a post on his social platform X.

“Such ingratitude,” he added.

Yeah, Trump should learn to show some appreciation.

Musk spent millions of dollars backing Trump’s election in 2024 and appeared alongside the president on the campaign trail during its final weeks.

Folks, that shouldn't be happening, regardless of candidate.

He then led the Department of Government Efficiency with the goal of cost-cutting efforts and overhauling the federal government; his last day in the administration as a special government employee was Friday.

I doubt that Musk was sincere about government efficiency and more interested in getting advantages with a little side order of gathering information.
But let's say he was sincere about his task. He (his minions) put in a lot of effort just to be slapped in the face with that not so beautiful bill. I suppose that could have made him mad.
