Musk claims that Trump is “in the Epstein files”

Tech billionaire Elon Musk claimed that President Donald Trump is “in the Epstein files” and that is the “real reason” those records have not been publicly released, without providing any evidence of where his information was coming from.

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public,” Musk wrote in a post on X. “Have a nice day, DJT!”
He added in a subsequent post: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”

Musk did not detail how he would have gained access to unreleased files. CNN has reached out to the White House for a response.

The lovers quarrel is getting ugly.
It’s highly likely, and I’d bet on one months salary that Trump is indeed in those files but this is still hysterical.
 
The funny thing is you don't even need to insinuate that Trump is a molestor / abuser. He literally bragged about grabbing women by the ***** & was found liable for sexual abuse in a court.

He could rape an underrage girl on 5th ave and wouldn't lose support.

Yeah, I am not sure it carries the weight that he thinks it does. Donald's followers like the idea of their lord and savior cheating on women, abusing them and assaulting them. It may be a sexual turn-on for some of them. So Elon showing up to state the obvious isn't really going to move the needle.

Epstein and Trump were big buddies and party partners for decades.
Is it a surprise Trumps association was 'edited' out of the files that were released?

Yes and the list of phone calls with Epstein which was previously released had Trump on it more than anyone else. But like you said it is not like MAGA cares a bit. MAGA women wear T-shirts that say "Trump can grab my *****". Nothing sick or perverted is out of line for Trump.

This one is tricky for @CLAX1911 because it's a very public MAGA spat and while the right thing to do would be to stay silent and wait for his talking points to be given to him, instead he decided to stick his neck out and attempt deflections to Democrats, people who burn EVs, Mitt Romney or really anything that sticks. That said, I think we should encourage it in hopes of seeing whether he ends up making it all the way to a trans-people-in-sports deflection by the end of this thread. It would be cool to document the journey of a MAGA from "but burning EVs!" to "but trans people in sports!" in a single thread.
