Multiple victims in Michigan church shooting; church on fire, police say

That number, 47,000+, is from the CDC. In 2022 there were even more fatalities; over 48,000. Argue with the CDC.

not homicides/murders

you want to include people taking their own life - its their body, their choice and has nothing to do with stats on violence including guns

we all know liberals do this

That's a juvenile argument.
its fact

Why has banning guns resulted in massive reductions in gun-related crimes in every other advanced nation which used common sense; by coincidence maybe?
its not resulted in any less violence because guns are not the cause of the violence. Why do you think UK has so much problems with knives? Because the core problem wasn't addressed

Not in America though; you're not a real man unless you're packing.
said nobody ever

And don't give me any crap about knives, ropes or cars as alternative means of causing injury or death. I don't recall a recent mass-hanging, a 200 yard assassination attempt using blunt force, or a drive-by knifing.
so now you're wanting to talk mass murders and not all murders ?

make up your mind

Suicide by gunshot is still a form of gun violence.

Do you have any idea what you're talking about, ever? Simple fact; remove guns, remove gun crime. Even a simpleton can understand that.

Piss-poor excuse. A gunshot killed all those people whether by suicide or murder. They're dead irrespective of the motivation. I hear this 'but suicide' nonsense every time the subject of gun violence comes up, as if it makes any difference. Dead is dead; a bullet killed them. 47,000 dead from gunshot vs. 22. Guess where I feel safer.

Mexico is an industrialized nation.

There is no single policy that every industrialized nation uses.

That a nation is industrialized doesn't necessarily exclude extremism in that nation.

Three fails in your post.
See, you forgot that every other industrialized nation has already figured out how to solve gun violence. Which means you were lying this entire time and not sincere about reducing gun violence. Good job!

People tend to not be in their right mind when they attempt suicide. In my experience, you start regretting the decision very quickly.

that's true - its normal to want to take your own life - still, its their body/their choice and its not homicide/violence towards others, its a whole 'nother category

does UK have crime and murder and suicides ?
Which means everyone is in agreement that gun control works as UK has far far FAR fewer gun violence incidents compared to America.

We can do this too in America. Nothing is preventing us.

you don't feel safe because of people who commit suicide ?

UK has murders and suicides - they just use other things than guns

Fact is, its not the choice of weapons behind violence after all

UK isn't as violent a nation as the USA is, that's true ... but when someone wants to murder someone in UK or take their own life? They get a weapon and they do it. The type of weapons is not the source of the core issue

Suicide is violence towards yourself, so suicide with a gun is a form of gun violence. It should be counted accordingly.

This argument only works if you thought that suicide via gun and suicide via literally any other method had the same success rates. Which is nonsensical to the point where anyone reading your post has to assume that you are arguing in bad faith.

do you categorize suicides ?

gun violence
knife violence
rope violence
car violence
sleeping pills violence

??

I bet you don't - I bet you only say "gun violence" ... am I right ?

How you keep trying and failing to distract away from the topic at hand, which is gun violence, continues to be funny to watch.

We don't put tea in a toaster in England. They tend to go 'bang' and spark a bit if liquids are introduced. If America banned guns like every other advanced nation has done, maybe you wouldn't have suffered the 47,000+ fatalities at the hands of gun-wielding nutters in 2023. London, like any big city you care to mention, has districts where more violence than the average occurs. Nice try-and your infantile bigotry is noted.

Nations that have banned guns. North Korea?

Nice way to refer to people who committed suicide with a gun, btw. Do you call them "rope-wielding nutters" in the UK?

I could have bet you would avoid his question- which IS directly relevant to your "gun violence".

Wouldn't have got very good odds though. Might have won a nickel on a $5 wager.
