We have a few White Afrikaners that live here and they practically literally fled South Africa and every time they talk about it they discuss how horrible it is... murders, reprisals, gang rapes... how white people live in fortified gated communities with armed guards and how thy drive to work quickly and into parking structures and after work head straight home and don't leave. It sounds horrible... I understand that the black population is uneducated and angry and rightfully so but the whole thing sounds like a nightmare.

Farming in South Africa is the most dangerous occupation in the world. Farmers there suffer more murders per-capita than any other community on earth outside a war zone.
