According to a new national poll, Obama’s approval rating dropped to 45%.

Obama has struggled to avoid multiple scandals in his second term, which some critics have described as a pattern of abuses far greater than the Watergate scandal which led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.

According to the CNN/ORC International survey, fully 61% of independents disapprove of Obama’s performance. Within the past month alone, Obama’s approval rating dropped eight percentage points among all surveyed. Even more worrying for the president’s administration, is a 17 point decline in individuals under 30, who have traditionally been most loyal to the president.

Currently, the Obama administration is struggling to handle an increasing number of scandals. This list is long and includes, among others, ethical failings from the lingering “Fast and Furious” investigations, the Benghazi inquiries, concerns over the so called “Pigford” abuse, potential abuses of power in the Obama administration’s IRS, and potential intimidation of journalists by Eric Holder’s department of Justice.

Hmm..., a 61% DISSAPROVAL... Who would have thunk it? Is this just incompetence or a insidious planned attack on Americans?

Who cares about approval ratings, its not like he's up for election. And while approval ratings do reflect people's opinion, do they also change them? And even if they do, again does it matter? Shouldn't we focus on things that matter now?
