So Joy wants to put her in the same ignore status as the hundreds of nameless faceless people who look like she does , but also ignores , who are gunned down in the bloody white liberal ruled killing pen black ghettos of Chicago, Atlanta, L.A.,,,?"Missing White Woman Syndrome."
Joy does have a point here. I mean both sides of the media does this, but FOX is notorious for this. It's been on front and center on their website for days now. I bet if you turn on Fox News now, they will be covering it. It's the "help the pretty blonde girl be found" news reporting. As Joy said, the media ignores people of color.
MSNBC's Joy Reid dismisses focus on Gabby Petito case as 'missing White woman syndrome'
MSNBC Joy Reid says national coverage of Gabby Petito's case is a symptom of "Missing White Woman Syndrome" and missing minority women don't receive the same coverage.www.foxnews.com
What point are you attempting to make?Well, this happened in Wyoming and they have an entire law enforcement task force dedicated solely to finding missing indigenous girls - most of whom are found alive and half within a week. There’s no task force in Wyoming dedicated to missing white girls so what they found over a month later was a decomposing body and they’re relying on social media sleuths to find the missing boyfriend who probably killed her.
The point is that the gripe is moot. There is an entire department of law enforcement dedicated to finding missing indigenous girls whether or not they’re popular enough on social media for the national news to take note. If Joy Reid wants to talk about Laquesha Nobody then she’s free to do so, but she chooses not to just like every other bobble head opinion show host on national “news.”What point are you attempting to make?
I remember it being 24/7 on FOX when Holloway disappeared."Missing White Woman Syndrome."

It's a sad fact in America that women are injured and killed by their male SO's a LOT. In fact murder by their male SO is the number one cause of death in pregnant women in this country. If you don't believe me, look it up.I wonder how much media coverage there would be if a black man abducted and murdered his black girlfriend. Would Ms. Reid be talking about how awful it is or how the media tends to focus on black crime instead of important stuff such as climate or Trump?

Almost as if she triggered you or something. My bad. Reid is right. It's all racist and she's been working her ass off for decades to bring a little recognition to this deep and disturbing aspect of American hatred toward racial minorities. I'm just not woke enough to really feel her pain and the righteous pain of of an oppressed nation that she so heroically defends.
"without the payday"?All the coverage of black victims, without the payday for the family.
Not only do I believe you but I used that exact scenario as the example you cited. Was that good enough for you? It's a sad fact in America that women are injured and killed by their male SO's a LOT. In fact murder by their male SO is the number one cause of death in pregnant women in this country. If you don't believe me, look it up.
Fascinating.A white woman that vanishes on a trip with her fiance where he has returned home nearly 10 days before she is even reported missing...is...unusual.
Black people getting gunned down in the street 36 times a day...meh...whats the big ****ing deal.
Black lives DO NOT MATTER. We have covered this plenty of times. Leftists dont give a **** about black lives. Hell, black Americans dont give a **** about black lives. How the hell is a random black life going to matter when a 6 year old black child gets gunned down in the street and the idiot left starts shrieking about the NRA and gun control? They are just props. Tools. They dont matter.
It's almost as if you can't see the difference between the two cases.............................2 BILLION in damages and dozens dead after ONE black man was murdered. Riots, looting, thuggery and death for A YEAR.
They law doesn't discriminate based on the job of the killer.
You think Gabby's parents are going to be celebrities and get millions? I don't.
So don't give me this crap and bitching about one week's worth of covering a young white woman missing and now dead.
Is there ANYTHING she cannot put into a racial context?"Missing White Woman Syndrome."

Keeping it classy I see... the bloody white liberal ruled killing pen black ghettos of Chicago, Atlanta, L.A.,,,?
It's almost as if you can't see that both people are equally dead because someone took their life. It's almost as if you can't see the difference between the two cases.............................
1. Yes, the obsessive coverage on local and national TV stations (not to mention cable outlets, such as my favorite FOX) is excessive and almost comical.
Do you? They bleat on about it on sites like this. They run around and pretend to give a **** at BLM rallies. Since 2013 when BLM started, nothing has changed for black Americans in the ratholes run by democrats. They blindly vote for and cheer on the same party that created those desperate shitholes. I dont think they care a bit. AS long as they vote reliably for their party they couldnt give a **** about them.I think that both groups DO care about those lives.
BUT they realize that the situation is intractable.
So they have decided to ignore the situation and stick to the same old same old: It's the cops' fault; it's the teachers' fault; reparations will help; job quotas will help; CRT will help; a guaranteed income will help, blah blah blah.

You know, I have not watched cnn or msnbc since November elections. There used to be a time I took pleasure in watching them because it was much fun watching those who disagree with you. I cant stand them anymore. I prefer to live in my FOX bubble. It is actually for my own good. An hour of msnbc these days can cause irreversible damage to my sanity.
The fact that these women garner less interest is a testament to the immorality of a society.4. The TV stations do not give the same coverage to missing ladies of color because not enough viewers are that interested in such cases.
No, because he'd be in prison by now. Nobody would be worrying about this incredible whodunit.I wonder how much media coverage there would be if a black man abducted and murdered his black girlfriend. Would Ms. Reid be talking about how awful it is or how the media tends to focus on black crime instead of important stuff such as climate or Trump?
