Which type of media do you watch more?

Which do you watch most and is there even a reason?
I watch about 3 times as many documentaries as movies.. all powered by youtube and vimeo...


here a short clip i made sharing my perspective on the topic.
 
I prefer documentaries, but I watch more movies, because good documentaries are not easy to find.
 
I sometimes drive my wife crazy with how many crime documentaries I watch. I have passion for both problem solving skills and justice in the form of punishment.
 
I mainly watch documentaries and foreign film. Hollywood mostly doesn't do it for me anymore.
 
I'm happy as a pig in **** when i find a good documentary... even if the topic is boring or stupid ( seriously, I watched " the history of Paint"... and loved it)

too many "documentaries" are political agenda driven nowadays... I steer clear of them as much as possible.

I watch a ton of movies too ( I don't do TV shows, except for local news)... but most movies hollywood puts out are ****... so I end up doing some other hobby.
 
I think I probably watch more movies, only because there aren't as many good documentaries out there. The last thing I watched was an excellent doc on The Abolitionists. There was another on the Rise of Hitler and one on the KKK. Fascinating look into the mindset of people. Another on the Loving vs Virginia Supreme Court case. A great one on The Battle of Gettysburg. Mostly historical stuff I guess. Another on Christianity after Jesus and how it emerged. I watch movies for escape, and Docs for reality and history.
 
I love documentaries way more. But i watch probably more movies.
 
I like historical documentaries and feel truly blessed if I can find one that does not attack America, white people or the Bible. It is truly unfortunate that one has to be careful of letting your children watch the History Channel, Natgeo, the Discovery Channel, etc.
 
I prefer posters who read and respond to other people's threads rather than using this forum exclusively to flog their youtube channel.
 
Movies. Come on, who prefers documentaries? Movies are art. They contain layers of meaning. They require skill to direct and to play in. The scenery and cgi can be breathtaking. Plus, as humans, we all love a good story.
 
More documentaries. There is a limit of about 2 hours to watch entertaining things like movies and games in my house. But they can watch scientific documentaries all they want.
 

What are you watching in those channels that has constant attacks on America?

same here. also, sometimes documentaries on subjects that i'm interested in suffer from agenda in place of good science; i.e. food production, etc.

i dig the historical ones, though.
 
I watch mainly movies. Documentaries don't appeal to me much because I feel reading is a more effective way of learning. Text can be typically be read faster than the narrator talks and also lets you easily refer back to earlier sections, which is vital for understanding complex subjects.
