"Water in this US city is so dirty, boiling it doesn't make it usable". Guess which race is 80% of the citizens?

Guess why?
  • The Trump administration on Thursday announced a legal repeal of a major Obama-era clean water regulation that limited the amount of pollution and chemicals in the nation’s rivers, lakes, streams and wetlands.
  • The EPA proposed replacing the 2015 water rule in December after an executive order from President Donald Trump, who has criticized the regulations for curbing the rights of farmers, real estate developers and landowners.
  • Environmental groups condemned the move, claiming that loosening restrictions will substantially harm the country’s sources of safe drinking water.

how about carcinogenic content of this water .......?

Deregulation is not a good idea .......

This home has a counter top distiller manufactured by Pure Water of Lincoln, Nebraska that we use everyday and have for the past 30 years.

I would not ever drink water in that town without having all of the water going through this machine first. Imagine how reckless management of the town must be.

I believe the EPA visited that town and suggested $47,000,000 could be found to rehab their water supply system. The leadership NOT requested $3,000,000. Racist fake republicans are everywhere..........

Until we take the profit out of poisoning our environment, it will never stop. Those who pollute should be made to pay well over and above the cost of cleaning up their mess, and that should include the healthcare cost of those they have been poisoning. We should have had Superfund money stockpiled in the TRILLION$ long ago. Make poisoning the planet more costly than the profits obtained by destroying it.

The "good" news is SCOTUS is ready to repeal even more environmental regulations in Sackett v EPA, so we can expect further degradation of our water supply.

Removing the government from protecting the environment is one of their top priorities. Racial equity, voting rights, money in politics, regulation. We have billions of dollars to push the right-wing plutocracy agenda.

43% of Americans are drinking water that does not meet EPA standards.

25 million Americans are drinking water that is outright harmful.

Just saying.

PRIVATIZATION IN ACTION ........ will not work. ALEC is in the market to buy up local water supply yes at the city level. Water is an absolute necessity = profits like never before = price increases.

Do you want ALEC to own your local water department? I would suggest NO!!!!

Remember the community in MIchigan that suddenly found lead in their water? ALEC proposed a system that would allow a "special manager" to be appointed following their criteria. This special manager does
have a clue. So this special manager tapped into a untreated water source BINGO lead water appeared.

Regulations eh ======ALEC has no use for regulations. Legal or not.

The one loophole in making the polluters pay is BANKRUPTCY PROTECTION. When ordered to pay they file bankruptcy. Yet college loans are designed not open to bankruptcy protection.......at least with college loans we taxpayer get paid back by a more well trained worker......... instead of carcinogenic laced drinking water.

You're having a hard time reading English. I said the race of 80% of the citizens, I didn't say water has race.
