They are all different. The only numbers I trust are the ones that 538 puts together from multiple polls. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they are doing that for the 2020 election yet. So far they only are reporting the individual polls as they come out. Anyway you look at it though Trump has a hard road ahead.

538 and ElectoralVote.com both do it, they use slightly different algorithms so a good policy is to average the results from the two of them.

ElectoralVote.com puts more weight on the state polls than the national news media (of whatever political bent) does, and, since the EC makeup is dependent on the state results rather than the national results, that makes a lot of sense to me.

These are the kind of bold-faced lies that endeared Trump's base. We must accept the reality that the Trump base will accept whatever LIEs are brought forth. They don't care. It's a whatever-it-takes-to-win attitude. That is what the DEMs are up against. They may need to dig down deep, and wallow in the trenches longer.

One example - if the DEMs would have made sure that some media outlet continued to play the P**** Grabber tape over and over and over, they would have been more effective at showing the TRUE Donald Trump. As it is, they let it drop after the initial airing. Had the tables been turned, FOX News would have never let that drop. The DEMs can't sit passively while they get torn apart.

Two points: 1) No poll showed Hillary up by 20% in swing states. None. 2) If polls are so unreliable, why did the Trump re-election team hire the polling firm in the first place, to conduct this internal poll?

However, this thread is about Trump lying to America -- stating that his own internal polls showed him winning everywhere when the poll showed the opposite.

So, the question is, why do you support someone who has so little respect for your intelligence that he thinks he can get away with baldly lying directly to you?

I doubt Trump is worried about the 2020 election any more than other incumbents who have been viewed
as a slight favorite to win re-election. All the sports books I bet with have Trump as the favorite to win re-election.
