Pretty excited to see the revamped DBacks this year. With the pick-up of Zack Greinke, Shelby Miller, and Tyler Clippard the pitching staff is much improved.
They can definitely threaten. They played a few games below their pythag last year (meaning they were actually probably a few games better than their 79-83 record indicates), and Greinke alone can add another 5 wins to that.
Barry Bonds looks good! I still can't believe he's not in the HOF.
Mets open up in Kansas City?!?! Sometimes I just can't understand MLB. I love the game, but at times they do the dumbest, stupidest things. The 2 teams that went to the WS open up the year playing interleague games, in early April? Oh yeah, the opening game is at night! Great idea, open up in KC in April at night. lol

Well, at least two teams must play inter league at all times.
I'm more interested in how both teams have retooled for this year--I'd say KC and SF look best in that regard.
And no, I don't buy into the AZ hype so far--Atlantis Reno opened them with 84.5 wins.
Grienke has to face everyone's #1 now---no longer hiding behind Kershaw---he's gone from a pitcher's to a hitter's ballpark.
NY isn't the most comfy venue in early April either.
And yes, I do look forward to these two teams playing early.
The NFL likes to do it on opening Thursday and it's been great for ratings.
Greinke is a weasel. He won't be able to put together another year like last year. The dodgers are a pitching organization, the diamonbacks have a pool in their outfiield.
Which is the envy of the entire league.
The way the weather has been this year it could be 70 and beautiful. Or snow showers. LOL

The 2013 Dodgers certainly enjoyed it ....
Always good to see my NYM friend back and active.
My Cubs are way overrated. :lamo
I'll need to look at the 30 schedules before I condemn MLB.
But, it does seem they have scheduled too many games in bad-weather cities in the past in April.
While you'll hear that warm-weather and dome cities complain they shouldn't have to pay the price of low attendance in April.
One road trip I'm looking to is the NATs at SL(3), KC(3), and CHC(4) from 4/29 to 5/8.

Right now, there's a good NATs story 6th headline down--plenty of Met's headlines also.
Recaps of the six divisions, what did they gain and what did they lose, is now on the 6th page--headlines 251-300--and keeps changing .

Pablo Sandoval is a disgrace!
It feels like he stole money from Boston. Have some pride in your work and get in shape.
