Mike Johnson Says ICE Shooting a Priest Doesn’t Cross the Line

He is not violating them.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I have never seen a leftist protest event that has not violated the peace of the area. When you are yelling at or throwing things at the agents, you are not being peaceful. These protests are keeping the people in nearby apartments awake at night. I say arrest everyone making noise above a certain dD level.

then when you cross into an area that can be made prohibited... Expect action.

Stop thinking the first amendment shield you from crimes.
Yelling is not a crime, fascist.
And that priest wasn’t even yelling. He was praying.
Are you telling us that ICE are such candy asses that they have to shoot people who hurt their widdle fee fees?
Maybe you need to apply for a job.

Don't attack federal agents. Simple concept - even the fascist democrats should be able to grasp it.

Don't attack federal agents - period.
Wow. ICE are such little candy asses that they consider a priest praying to be an attack.
What a bunch of cucks!

They are so stupid, they think the first amendment shields them from all their crimes during protests.
The officer that shot the pastor in the head with a pepper ball violated the law as well as department policy.

What should happen to him?

Sieg Heil indeed.

He and the other insurrectionists were advancing on federal agents and had repeatedly been ordered to vacate the restricted zone. Hey, it's not like your side has repeatedly attack and assaulted federal agents... Oh - wait.

BUT you're leftists - laws don't apply to your side.
How were they going to advance 20 feet vertically?

It a trespass and interfering with the police.
So you wont answer my question because you know it wasnt a riot.

The officer that shot the pastor in the head with a pepper ball broke the law and violated department policy.

Should he be fired and arrested?

So you wont answer my question because you know it wasnt a riot.

The officer thar shot the pastor in the head with a pepper ball broke the law and violated department policy.

Should he be fired and arrested?
No he did not break the law.

Shipping container.

Telling ya.

No he did not break the law.
Yes he did.

It is illegal for law enforcement to shoot protesters in the head with pepper balls
. Aiming projectiles at the head, neck, and other vital organs is a dangerous and unconstitutional use of force. Police use of such weapons must be "objectively reasonable" in response to a valid threat, and targeting the head is widely considered excessive.

Legal and medical precedent
  • Excessive force: The use of force must be proportional to the threat. Firing projectiles at the head of a protester who is not posing an immediate threat of violence is a violation of the "objectively reasonable" standard for force. Civil rights groups like the ACLU routinely sue law enforcement agencies over the excessive and indiscriminate use of crowd-control projectiles during protests.
  • Court orders: In response to documented police actions, courts have issued temporary restraining orders specifically barring law enforcement from aiming projectiles like pepper balls at the heads and necks of protesters. A federal judge issued such an order against federal agents in Illinois after a pastor was shot in the head with a pepper ball in October 2025.

Wow. You trust a news source that requires you use their virus filled application?

House Speaker Mike Johnson thinks faith leaders and journalists are fair targets for federal law enforcement officers that have descended on Chicago.

During a press conference Tuesday, Johnson flailed when asked where he’d draw the line on brutality by federal officers carrying out President Donald Trump’s “Operation Midway Blitz.”

“We’ve seen images out of Chicago of federal agents shooting faith leaders with pepper balls and arresting journalists,” a reporter said. “Where’s the limit for you on what’s acceptable conduct by federal law enforcement? And when is it incumbent on Congress to amend oversight on federal law enforcement?”

“I’ve not seen them cross the line yet,” Johnson replied, saying that there were some committees with jurisdiction over federal law enforcement. “It’s not risen to that level.”...

Yelling is not a crime, fascist.
At night, noise ordances need to be enforce but are not by the cowardly Portland police.
And that priest wasn’t even yelling. He was praying.
He was trespassing.

Zero tolerance seems to be the only way to deal with the idiots.
