Might this be true, Turks in Ukraine?

Turkey is a backwards nation built on genocide that has no business in Ukraine
Here's a couple of recent pictures of life in an advanced nation called Russia.

An old article, but to do with relations between the EU and Turkey, with no mention of Turkey seeking to become a member of the EU.
Because Turkey hasn't really tried for more than a decade. That they are a candidate doesn't mean anything really. You don't lose the status of candidate nation. So officially Turkey is trying to join EU, but unofficially neither EU nor Turkey has been working on it since the mid 00s.

So basically, Turkey still wants to join the EU but are making no effort to bring it about.

I wouldn't be so sure about the current Erdogan government. His actions are clear evidence he cares nothing for basic human rights-like the freedom of speech, the free press and the democratic process; all of which would bar Turkey from EU membership unless addressed; and he evidently has no intention of doing so. While Erdogan is in power Turkey stands no chance.

Under Erdogan there has developed a huge amount of corruption in government, and the economy is an absolute mess and getting worse. It's interesting they are trying to help Ukraine. They are having trouble pulling up their own pants.

Erdogan doesn't really want it anymore if he ever did. Other people in his party were more open to it, and thus Erdogan played along for some time in the early 2000s before he was able to basically reign them in.

Turks in Ukraine, bringing more drones, training, and assitance?

Turks have never had a problem selling weapons to active combatants; they were driving armored cars into Georgia while the Russians were battling in Tskhinvali.

um no, we have never been as barbaric
No?

No?
