Small republican win.

It will not be a red wave, but it will also not be an exception to the rule regarding the Presidents party and midterm elections.

Sounds like standard excuses but do go on. Maybe voters are sick of the hot mess that the Biden administration causes most everyday?

Just the economy issue will sink the democrats in November.

What I don't underestimate is the D's ability ti snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If D's lose it'll be from not appealing to the blue collar workers that should be their base. Letting their message be to cerebral & allowing the 1%er party to claim love for the working class, while simultaneously claiming credit for Democratic projects.
Maybe prochoice women & men can have a history making effect.

Inflation has stolen money from everyone.
Blue collar workers have seen a big reduction In their purchasing capacity.
Everything costs more thanks to the Biden administration. They will vote their wallet.

I don't think the democrat party really represents the working class anymore. I think they have written the working class off as MAGA. It may be that the two parties are flipping and the democrats now represent the upper middle class up to the elite class, while the republicans are starting to represent the dwindling lower middle class and the dwindling working class. I guess it is really hard to satisfy the elite donors and the working class at the same time.

Except for 2 midterms in the last 100 years, the party out of power in the White House picks up seats, and often if not most of the time picks up the majority, in the House. No reason to think 2022 will be any different.

I think all of the government overreach and spending will kill the democrats in Nov......inflation and high gas prices with the push towards EV's without the proper infrastructure in place is a killer to the dems chances, also. While these are important, serious policy avenues the left went down, the biggest thing which will destroy the democrats chances in Nov. are their social changes they wish to push on America.....keeping parents in check, destroying women sports, girls are boys and boys are girls.....these type of social issues will haunt them for a long time. I look for a red wave.....the left had their chance and blew it, big time.

I voted Small Democratic Win but to be honest, I am not sure. Too many wildcards and I question the value of who is running for some of these toss up seats Republican and Democrat.

I still think there may be a surprise or two.

I'm hoping Mike Moore's hunch is right again and the underpolled voters turn out big for the Dems. It's an outlier though, as it was when he correctly predicted Trump would win in 2016. Till then I'm assuming the polls and usual winds are correct and the GOP will take back congress. But as below, by now voters should know better...
