Impeachments are a waste of time, energy and money. They are bound to fail. All three recent impeachments had zero chance of success. Perhaps if Nixon’s impeachment has a chance of success, but he resigned prior to the house passing the articles of impeachment. His resignation made passing the articles of impeachment a moot point.



Shri Thanedar’s filing of impeachment articles stands zero chance of making it out of committee let alone going to a floor vote. It’s nothing more than a PR move. Shri Thanedar wanting his 15 minutes in the limelight or spotlight. No one is taking this seriously, not even most democrats as they know its doomed before it even begins.

I hope they do impeach Trump. This latest Abrego-Garcia deportation would be the weakest impeachment of all. They will lose because the bases for the impeachment are fallacious, including denial of due process. Even if dems manage to pick up seats in the Senate, they won't have enough to convict Trump on the bogus charges (Senate impeachment conviction requires a 2/3 vote).

I support the decision of the Immigration Judge in 2019, who said that Abrego-Garcia should be deported - that was due process. The administration has the executive duty to follow through with the Immigration Judge's decision.

The Administration did exactly what they were supposed to. If impeached, the Immigration Judge who ordered Abrego-Garcia's deportation would be summoned to testify to this fact. This deportation order is exculpatory evidence, and the Senate would be compelled to acquit Trump of any wrongdoing.
