Eleanor Roosevelt, as I have posted elsewhere, was her husband's eyes and ears during World War II when he was physically unable to do what she did: to climb into an unheated military aircraft with a typewriter and view scenes that he needed to see. She was invaluable to the United States of America. It is rather pitiful that you seem to see a former First Lady who did so much for this country and see her only as someone who should be judged like a cow at a state fair.

Well, I certainly don't think that it's the job of a First Lady to be glamorous. I posted that in reply to another member who said she was beautiful, after one nasty Trumpie repeatedly called her a him, and another disrespectful repug posted unflattering images of her allegedly showing that she was angry.

First Lady Michelle Obama was an intelligent and highly respected First Lady of great accomplishments which had nothing to do with appearance.
