Anyone catch clips of ESPN Draft Guru Mel Kiper’s reaction to missing where Shedeur Sanders would be drafted? I never paid Kiper much mind in the past. I did a little looking and according to what I can find, Kiper talked his way into draft predictions when he was in high school. He’s never played college or professional football, he’s basically sold himself on the force of his personality. There was a line where he, Kiper, states that the NFL has been clueless evaluating quarterback talent for 50 years. A little research shows that Mel has a prediction success rate of somewhere between 16 & 23%.

Kiper is probably no worse, or better, than any of the draft predictors.
Especially for QBs.
As we've seen time and time again success in college at the QB position does not guarantee success in the NFL.
I do not think NFL coaches pay much attention to any of the drafter predictors.
