Megachurch pastor Joel Osteen has been questioned by police after 'bags and bags' of cash and checks were found in about 500 envelopes in a bathroom wall at Lakewood Church in Texas.

A plumber who worked at the church and only gave his first name, Justin, called into a Houston radio morning 100.3 The Bull show to tell them about his shocking discovery, which comes seven years after about $600,000 in donations was stolen and hasn't been recovered.

Justin was called in to America's largest church, Lakewood Church, on November 10 to fix a broken toilet, he said.

Ah, another hate on Christian threads, when the topic is money found from a burglary 7 years ago. Olstein would have nothing to do with this. Checks are worthless from a theft, and certainly after 7 years.

Anyway, continue with your rabid bigotry against Christians and Christian ministers. Of course, this next bigotry against Christians fest on the forum will all be by Democrats, won't it?

Nothing wrong with Christianity, but there is plenty wrong with megachurches that tend to go against the religion they claim to promote routinely

If you associate slimy, grifting pastors with all Christians, it sounds like you are the one who hates Christians.

I understand and I'm none too fond of health and wealth tele-evangelists myself. Then again, some people have problem with big political parties raking in money by bribery, theft of public funds thru relatives and insider trading with their legislative knowledge, and selling their souls and votes to the the plutocrats and super rich elites and corporations.

There is no basis to attack Olstein for a burglary 7years ago. It is clear he was not involved because it made the checks worthless and I'm confident he could hide cash better than that - nor had any reason to hide it anyway.

I've just noticed how many Democrats - not all of course - seize on any opportunity to attack Christianity - and in this instance every one for whom the chose for Olstein to be their minister. He's not stealing their money.
