Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said he hasn't met an American who has seen the Senate Republicans' healthcare bill yet, though he's "sure the Russians have" gotten their hands on it, Bloomberg reported.

Asked Tuesday whether he has seen a copy of the legislation, McCain said he has not.

"Nor have I met any American that has," he added, according to Bloomberg. "I’m sure the Russians have been able to hack in and gotten most of it."

McCain is one of a number of senators growing frustrated with Senate Republican leaders' efforts to draft the healthcare overhaul measure.

I hope you have more to hang your hat on than that senile old RINO.

But Pelosi and Schumer et al have been telling us how bad it is !!!!! They must've seen it.
But in all fairness, McCain doesn't seem to remember where he parked either sooooooooo

the fact that only a few elite in the senate have seen the Senate Healthcare bill and their plan to ram it through without any debate is proof enough. Also noted is the fact you support this method considering all the whining you guys did about the Dems Healthcare bill even though it received far more light on it than this bill ever has so far.

Parts have leaked out and yes, it is that bad. The fact the ACA had far more light on it and hearings prove what a piece of **** this bill is and the Republicans that support it. If its so good, then it shouldn't be secret nor should they be trying to ram it through without ANY debate.

I know this is really cynical and mean, but I really do hope The Republicans Repeal Obamacare and take this country back to the Healthcare it had 2008. Only then, will people realize what they had and then gave away. Unfortunately, this is how low informed people learn, and how the poor and elderly are impacted first and most.

Hopefully they will realize, the people who are looking to take away their Government backed Healthcare, would never give up their own Government backed Healthcare. Because it's a great deal for them.

What parts leaked out and by whom?

As I explained in another thread, if your opponent promised to block everything you do why would you give them more time to do it if you don't have to?

It's being blocked from OTHER Republicans from seeing it as well as the American people. Again, if it's so great, why the secrecy? You guys whined till all end about the ACA and now you guys are supporting a process that's even WORSE than the ACA to get your piece of **** bill to pass.

So it needs to be held secret from the American people? No, it doesn't unless the bill is THAT bad. Again, you just show your hypocrisy like the con you are.

Playbook 1: when valid point is made, insult the person whom made the valid point.

You're getting nasty. There's no call for that.
That's the advantage of doing something first.
You do something shady, the other guy complains about it, and when he does it you can call him a hypocrite.
Of course he can call you the same thing but what the hell, he doesn't collude with the media so who's gonna report it.

Tomorrow. They said they plan to release it tomorrow.

AGAIN: "if your opponent promised to block everything you do why would you give them more time to do it if you don't have to?"

Now ... what parts were leaked, who leaked them, and who reported them?

You mean like the "We need to pass it to see what's in it" jargon? What short memories.

There were far far more hearings on the ACA than your GOP scumbags will allow on this. Save it con, the name fits.

Lame.

If all you can do is attack the messenger then you have nothing. McCain might well be a murderer but that does NOT deny the fact he's a long time pro and has extensive experience in national politics. Which makes his case a lot more authentic than you suggesting he's senile, when you've never met him, never spoken to him and have not one clue with the issues he's dealing with.

You post reeks of fear, attacking the messenger is always the last resort of the incompetent; the fact that it is the first reply and only nine minutes after the PO was posted is testimony of an inner fear that Trump's little empire of cards is slowly coming apart because he's too incompetent to be president.

But Pelosi and Schumer et al have been telling us how bad it is !!!!! They must've seen it.
But in all fairness, McCain doesn't seem to remember where he parked either sooooooooo

Do you have any proof that McCain is suffering memory issues? Have you ever met him? Have his medical records?

Frankly, to attack a public figure without proof is gossip. But it is the last resort of the incompetent to attack the individual and shows an inner fear that he may be right.

I marvel at how easily right wing Americans throw their war veterans under a bus when it suits them. The right starts the wars and then attacks the integrity of heroes after they've served.

He hurt Trump the Terrible's feelings and so his integrity and manhood MUST be attacked.

It's really sick politics

Don't you think we (the public) have a right to know what's in a bill that will affect about 1/6th of the economy? It's really not all about teams and winning some f'ing contest - the bill will affect the lives of 10s of millions in a huge way and these assholes are doing it all in complete SECRECY. The terms "back room dealing" and "behind closed doors" is literally how this bill is being negotiated.

Republicans spent years whining about the way the ACA was passed, but it had at least dozens of open hearings, weeks of debate, provided everyone in the Senate the opportunity to offer amendments, contribute to the process, invited the comments from hundreds of healthcare experts who testified in open session, etc. The McConnell Senate has none of that. If you're not on the committee, GOP or Dem, you can't know what the hell these guys are doing, and they're all relatively rich white guys (if that's important to anyone).

Last I heard, this change to 1/6th of the economy will get a whopping 10 hours of public debate - 6 minutes per Senator! It's really quite amazing.

And it is STILL the ****tiest, most expensive, most inefficient system on the planet amongst advanced post-industrial nations.

It's probably a cluster ****. Not much need to see it.

You mean like the "We need to pass it to see what's in it" jargon? What short memories.

There is no comparison between the relatively open process of the ACA and the complete secrecy around the GOP efforts. They have been ZERO open hearings on the GOP bill. Care to guess how many there were for the ACA debate? Five different committees in the House and Senate, about 100 public hearings, hundreds of experts, many hours of Congressional debate and discussion, hundreds of amendments offered by both parties.

So your response is lame, and ignores (or is ignorant of) what actually happened then and is happening now. We've basically never seen anything like this before on such a major piece of legislation. The Senate approach just shatters every historical norm.

You do something shady, the other guy complains about it, and when he does it you can call him a hypocrite.

bubba, that's the definition of hypocrite. Your doing something you complained about. The problem with your "narrative" is you are falsely accusing the democrats of doing something they didn't do. Obamacare was available for all to see and read and was debated on the senate floor for 25 days. So you are either a dishonest hypocrite or a dumb one. Regardless which, you and every republican, conservative and conservative like poster are hypocrites.

In June and July 2009, with Democrats in charge, the Senate health committee spent nearly 60 hours over 13 days marking up the bill that became the Affordable Care Act. That September and October, the Senate Finance Committee worked on the legislation for eight days — its longest markup in two decades. It considered more than 130 amendments and held 79 roll-call votes.
The full Senate debated the health care bill for 25 straight days before passing it on Dec. 24, 2009.

oh and thanks for admitting what the republicans are doing is shady. I think that's being nice. I would have said disgusting, cowardly and shady.

WCH, you are simply clinging to a false conservative narrative based on a sentence fragment that you have to take out of context. Obamacare was available for all to see and read and it was debated on the senate floor for 25 days. There was no "hide it until the last minute and try to pass before anybody reads it" BS the republicans are trying to pull. There are simply no words you can post to justify their actions. Your conservative masters appreciate your obedience but you do yourself and America a disservice when you try.

Instead of looking for any excuse to not hold them accountable for their actions, you should demand republicans stop lying about Obamacare and address healthcare in an honest and intelligent manner.
