Considering his stand on illegal immigration I do not think he was being sarcastic.

To be fair mike got his info from the OP article. The article does suggests that Bloomberg was being sarcastic despite his statements in the past regarding illegal illegal immigration.

I was relying on the OP linked article as you stated. I don't like Bloomberg. IMO, Obama and his policies is opening the gates to more illegal immigrant problems. Yes, deportations are up. Yet he fights States that want to help the feds. Even some ICE agents are now speaking out. The feds need to slow down the influx of illegals.
