Math Problem for the Day: Obama Minus Bush = More of the Same

Cept for bringing circus folk to NY for a show trial you are correct.

There are several more topics I could have touched on, but I wanted to keep my article at fewer than 1,000 words (there are actually 1,010). Even expounding upon the three main topics would be equivalent to a book. I guess the point I'm trying to get across is that people need to break free of the partisan mentality and see that there is a larger goal that these puppet presidents are being used to accomplish.

Not really. Obama is bankrupting the country at a much faster rate.

Bush and Obama are on the same page. But Bush whacked the path clear and Obama is simply running the course. Difference in speed, same goal.

You know, Eric? I read your article, and I liked everything in it. It is very well written. But one thing you will not be able to do is convince any hyperpartisan here. They are fixated on only one thing here - Bash Obama for the carnage he is causing, and give Bush a free pass on the Carnage he caused.

Anyways, it is always nice to see a real Conservative, not a fake one, join this board, and I hope to see a lot more of your posts. Welcome aboard. :)

Actually, a lot of that whacking was done by Clinton. Patriot Act, and syping on Americans by the government? Extension of Clinton's Antiterrorism Act. Allowing 5 major corporations to control just about all of the media? Bush just followed what was laid down in Clinton's Telecommunications Act. I could give you more examples, but you get my drift, and I believe you already knew it too. Obama? Bush? Clinton? They are the same person, politically speaking. What is different is the methodology. Republicans like the straight up boot on your neck approach, while Democrats like the sneaky "ve vill be your nanny" approach. But the end is the same for both approaches. For years, the Democrats and Republicans have been playing ping pong with our balls, while dividing the nation so that people are too busy fighting with each other to see that their liberties are being taken right out from underneath them, little by little.

I have always talked about how the Democrats and Republicans should merge, since they are pretty much the same party now. Their new mascot should be a donkey's ass sticking out of an elephant's ass. :mrgreen:

I am painfully aware of the fact that it is an uphill battle. But for the few who are like-minded, we can hopefully make a dent. For the record, I didn't always feel this way about Bush. I voted for him twice and spent hundreds of hours defending him. However, I have recently become quite saddened and disillusioned by the things I am discovering.

I still don't get how people can argue that two parties who disagree with each other on so much can be "the same".

And frankly, if people can't see that their liberties are being taken from them, that's a pretty good indication that their liberties aren't being taken from them.

They will fan the fire of the Left/Right paradigm so that the general public will argue among themselves and be kept off balance. Kind of like pro wrestling.

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is the organization who has been calling the shots for 90 years. They have been forwarding their agenda in spite of whether there is a liberal or conservative President in office. This is why I mentioned the wars, NAFTA and TARP. These Presidents all share a common goal. Once they lay the dramatic argumentitiveness aside, they are on the same page.

Most of the public doesn't realize their freedoms are being stripped because everything is done in a cloak and dagger manner. The ones who step forward to sound the trumpet are automatically written off as fringe loons yet, you don't need to look very far or dig very deep to find the ticker that is shows each of our liberties that are being knocked over one by one.
