I don't see anything wrong with what she said. Hogg was a vulture selling his brand for personal gain using a tragedy.

"What's wrong with harassing a kid who is a victim of a mass shooting just after a bunch of their friends have been ****ing murdered" asks a guy who probably considers himself a good christian or some such bullshit.


The fundamental aspect of conservatism is a complete lack of empathy.

I'd say the horrible person is the one who was aggrandizing himself off of the dead, but to each their own.

Looks like my edit didn't make the cut, so here's what else I wrote.

Jesus Christ. Conservatives are all horrible. You see, other people just don't actually matter to a conservative. Sure, they care about their friends and family. Love them, even. But strangers? Strangers don't affect the life of the conservative, so they don't really count as people. Like a video game NPC. The conservative understands academically that these people exist and have lives and loved ones of their own. Conservatives just have no emotional attachment to them, they don't place any value on those lives.

Which is why a conservative has absolutely no concept that a teenager they've never met actually could genuinely care about a whole bunch of their friends getting ****ing murdered. Empathy is so foreign to a conservative that they cannot conceive of other people having it and therefore assume worse motives are present.

You think he was "aggrandizing himself off the dead" because it literally did not occur to you that this kid actually cared about a bunch of his friends getting killed and that he wants to stop that from happening to other kids.

Yeah...I saw it and cut it out as it's merely a spittle-flecked tirade. I care about strangers. I care about everyone, tbh. It's one of the big reasons why I'm against foreign interventionism. I don't care for Hogg, but neither do I wish him harm. I saw enough of him in interviews to get a decent measure of him. If you want to buy his grift, that's on you. Maybe I'm cynical on this but there is plenty of videos of him being a shitty person.

Nah, I'm completely right. You think it's impossible for his motivations to be honest. You didn't decide this based on "watching him in interviews." He just wants gun control and that primed you to utterly despise him.

Hogg has put himself front and center to attack the 2nd amendment and gun owners in general.
His wild eyed stance against guns got him a slot at Harvard.

Seventeen-year-old gun control advocate David Hogg delivered a profanity-laced tirade on the evils of gun owners and Republican lawmakers in a recorded interview posted to YouTube on March 5.
In the interview, conducted by The Outline, the Parkland shooting survivor describes the National Rifle Association and pro-Second Amendment lawmakers as “f***ers” and accuses them of prioritizing campaign contributions over the lives of children.
“The pathetic f***ers that want to keep killing our children, they could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn’t take action because they all still see those dollar signs,” Hogg said before describing the “exhaustion” he’s experienced as a result of his month-long stint as a political activist.

Hes not a 'victim' of a school shooting. He wasnt shot. But you are playing the victim card so he cant be questioned. He gets to go out and say whatever he wants because he is a 'victim' but no one is allowed to question him.
