Good on you, Sir!!! I especially like how you called with what you're doing as protecting democracy from folks who turn up there to intimidate voters. (y)

He promised to provide as many deputies as needed to ensure safety, as U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland and state officials warned ballot drop box watchers that they won't tolerate voter intimidation.

"The more folks that there are creating problems, the more deputies you're going to see on the streets focused on this," Penzone said at a news conference. "We'll come and babysit polling sites because people want to misbehave, if that's what we have to do to protect democracy."

The sheriff warned that deputies will get involved if the observers threaten violence, attempt to block voters from accessing the ballot boxes or try to influence who voters cast ballots for.

If this sheriff's anything like Joe Arpaio he'll scare away every liberal voter in the state.

He is nothing like Arpaio. He is tough but understands how to communicate and work with others.

Paul Penzone replaced Arpaio. Penzone is a registered Democrat.
