Many Texas Schools Teach Creationism

Thanks to you as well for being honest about this subject.

But the problem is, the answer is not know, the answer is asserted. Knowledge requires some basis in reality. You can't just claim to know something you have no way of actually knowing. I can't just claim to know that unicorns are real, I have to explain *HOW* I know and faith is not knowledge until I can do that. Faith in a god and faith in unicorns or leprechauns or anything of the sort are not significantly different.

There's no such thing as a faith-based truth. There are faith-based beliefs, but unless you can demonstrate that it's actually true, and that requires evidence, logic and critical thinking, it's not a truth.

Which is more than you can say about religion, which also doesn't know, but chooses to make up an answer anyhow.
