I just now decided to take a look around at the post debate polls to see who people thought won the debate. I'm absolutely shocked and just don't understand... this is like a bad joke that just keeps hitting the next level.
Trump crushes in all these polls with second place averaging around 11%.
45% DRUDGE POLL: WHO WON THE FIRST REPUBLICAN DEBATE '16?
47% Republican Debate Poll: Who Won First Fox GOP Debate?
38% Republican presidential debate: Who won? Vote in our poll.
60% Poll: Who won the first Republican debate? | MSNBC
Are these polls truly indicative of what America thinks? Really? Please tell me this was just a fluke.
For those on the left that think this is good and a sure win for the Democrats, think again. IMO this is a symptom of a sick country, something is wrong. Even if this were to help a D get elected how do you get anything done with such a large stripe of the country on the fringe? Look at how much trouble Obama had and what a dysfunctional political system we've endured for these past six years. If this trend continues I think it's possible 2016 on could be even worse, especially if a D gets elected... or a nut.
