The trial is over.

It took the jury 2 hours to find him guilty.

He will sentenced in May and the judge has allowed him to remain free under some conditions until his sentencing.

I would have sent him directly to jail to wait for the sentencing.

He is going to appeal.

From his prison cell...

The turd should’ve been immediately put back behind bars.

“This is not a jury of my peers,” he told reporters.

Sounds to me like he's right, but that doesn't matter because he disrespected the government, (the worst thing anyone could ever do) therefore he doesn't deserve a fair trial.

Nonsense. “Jury of peers” has never been defined as residents of the same state or political party.

The least surprising thing in this thread will be you sympathizing with an insurrectionist.

Oh many a peer of England brews
Livelier liquor than the Muse,
And malt does more than Milton can
To justify God's ways to man.
Ale, man, ale's the stuff to drink
For fellows whom it hurts to think.

His attorneys are claiming he was convicted because of politics.

Biden voters on the jury, they said.

Another one goes down whining and complaining about being victimized. I might MIGHT be able to muster some empathy and respect for these goons if they would just stand up and admit to their guilt. All loud and proud on 1/6 and standing there with shriveled "junk" (colloquialism) and whining today.

This is the cultism everyone talks about.

You have exactly NO reason to believe he didn't receive a fair trial. You just made up that fantasy when things didn't go the way you hoped.

Could he have had a fair trial if the jury was composed of all Democrats?

I'm not saying it was, I'm just asking.

So what, he was supposed to be tried by a group of the people who were there with him on that day?

Seems like that's the point.

Because only an "unfair" trial would see him convicted of felonies he literally committed on camera.
