From his prison cell...The trial is over.
It took the jury 2 hours to find him guilty.
He will sentenced in May and the judge has allowed him to remain free under some conditions until his sentencing.
I would have sent him directly to jail to wait for the sentencing.
He is going to appeal.
The turd should’ve been immediately put back behind bars. The trial is over.

Barnett richly deserves every second of the 20 years that he’s facing, with no time off for good behavior.I hope he gets the max sentence.
“This is not a jury of my peers,” he told reporters.
The defense accepted the jurors before the trial started.Sounds to me like he's right, but that doesn't matter because he disrespected the government, (the worst thing anyone could ever do) therefore he doesn't deserve a fair trial.
Nonsense. “Jury of peers” has never been defined as residents of the same state or political party.Sounds to me like he's right, but that doesn't matter because he disrespected the government, (the worst thing anyone could ever do) therefore he doesn't deserve a fair trial.
The least surprising thing in this thread will be you sympathizing with an insurrectionist.Sounds to me like he's right, but that doesn't matter because he disrespected the government, (the worst thing anyone could ever do) therefore he doesn't deserve a fair trial.

You have exactly NO reason to believe he didn't receive a fair trial. You just made up that fantasy when things didn't go the way you hoped.
Why are you asking me questions? State your point.Could he have had a fair trial if the jury was composed of all Democrats?
Dunno. What is respect going for nowadays? How much damage in dollars did he cause?
His attorneys beat you to it.Could he have had a fair trial if the jury was composed of all Democrats?
I'm not saying it was, I'm just asking.
Sounds to me like he's right, but that doesn't matter because he disrespected the government, (the worst thing anyone could ever do) therefore he doesn't deserve a fair trial.
Seems like that's the point. So what, he was supposed to be tried by a group of the people who were there with him on that day?
Dunno. What is respect going for nowadays?
