Man Toting Shotgun Opens Fire on Block Party, at Least 7, Including 2-Year-Old, Hurt | NBC 10 Philadelphia
Yet another shooting has happening. Maybe it's time to finally outlaw gun ownership? There are too many shootings happening recently and it's not like it is going to stop. People get injured and killed every single day. It seems like we are turning into a third world country. That trend must be stopped since none of our policies actually work.

Asst. Police Chief Steve Dolunt said a 20-year-old man was killed. He was not being identified while relatives were informed.
Another man was critically injured and eight others, five men and three women, were listed as seriously injured. The victims ranged in age from 21 to 46, he said.
Dolunt said the shooting happened at a neighborhood party that included a barbecue attended by families with some small children in strollers.
"Through the grace of God no children were shot," he said.
It's actually a great idea.Considering the traditional conservative view on gun ownership... Perhaps you should opt for a "slightly conservative" political affiliation? Just a suggestion.

And the NRA's solution, I'm sure, will be to try get more people armed!

.....
On a serious note, just as an outside observer, I don't see how this late in the game any talk of significant gun control could be accomplished when your Supreme Court has upheld a constitutionally protected right for citizens to be armed, when you have over 300 million firearms of one sort or another in circulation, and any attempt to confiscate them would result in far more death and destruction than any mentally ill person could commit. Just think, even if it was a good idea, you can't come to any agreement on how to deal with 20 million, give or take, illegal aliens running loose and you want to outlaw gun ownership of 300 million plus guns? Good luck with that.

Well, with almost 300M guns & the highest per capita gun ownership in the world, we still lead the civilized world in gun deaths by far.I have no problem with that.
The NRA wants to arm law abiding citizens.
Our government is arming the Mexican drug cartel. :lamo
I will stick with the NRA.
Was it legal to shoot people in Philly? Wait it wasn't? So why would outlawing guns make a difference?Man Toting Shotgun Opens Fire on Block Party, at Least 7, Including 2-Year-Old, Hurt | NBC 10 Philadelphia
