I would not get too worked up over such a limited poll.
But consider that only some 26% are declared republicans so if 47% of 26% does not get vaccinated,
that still means that 87% of the population will get vaccinated.

But the evidence is now pointing the the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines also cutting asymptomatic transmission sharply which was not anticipated. As such, getting vaccinated now adds an aspect of protection for the entire community on top of the herd immunity aspect. But of course Republicans only care about themselves. I would hope the people that are in danger of complications (the Obese, old etc) get the vaccine. So, the chances of "killing them" would be extremely small.

What was it, 80% of those that were hospitalized by COVID were obese (check the stat, but that was close) and the countries with the most obese people had far higher death rates then countries with less - don't recall the percentage increase.
