Does anyone actually believe he wrote that? That he even knows what it means? The non-Christian who pretends to be something he most decidedly isn't. Are some Christians that gullible that they believe it?

The Olympics are not satanic. However they are a bit silly at this point.

- Too many pastimes being passed off as sports.
- Production quality of the broadcasts are laughable....too many channels providing coverage.....too many problems with 4K.....too many audio problems

They believe an obscure man rose from the dead 2,000 years ago but was not noticed nor recorded for seven decades. They believe people are capable or remembering and reciting the exact quotations of a wandering profit from 70 years before it was written down.

And....they believe all of that was kept secret except for one Roman who seems to have been the head propagandist as his contribution is nearly 50% of the entire book....a man who never met Jesus, heard him speak and couldn't have picked him out of a crowd.

Further, NOTHING was done about any of this until the Roman Empire fell and the world fell into ignorance and darkness.


But its "Gospel" .

As a Christian, this display of "art" (if it is indeed of the last supper) is less offensive toward my faith than it is a more general offense to aesthetics and actual good art.

I don't really understand what artistic or cultural value can be gleaned from putting a bunch of overweight, very colorful, sexually amorphous people on stage to sing bad music and prance around in gaudy outfits. I picture the Olympics as being a stage for physical prowess, mental strength, and national pride. This just seems to be an exercise in how can we artfully arrange this group of dysgenic mutants on stage to be as repulsive to the senses as possible.

Well a least swimming events are timed events that have been contested in the Olympics since 1896.

However as you pointed out earlier, some of this crap is now entirely out of hand. Archery for example might be a contested sport. But if it is, get all of that crap off the bow and shoot clean. How would it look if golfers got to wear all the claptrap available for hitting a golf ball into competition.

Also, the number of "so-called" sports plays into the number of venues and the number of venues is likely responsible for some the the productions problems they are having.
