This is what they do to innocent civilians...

As the recent search for the 3 kidnapped and murdered Israeli teens took place, a much larger Hamas infrastructure was found. Hamas has at least 10,000 rockets and missiles.

Over 1/4 of Israel's population is endangered, with millions fleeing to bomb shelters. Note everyone on phones trying to reach loved ones...

Public outcry for intervention has been met by a govt reluctant to appear as eager to fight-and now innocents are dead.

Now its come to invasion, its the only way to root out the terrorist scum and either send them to allah or prison.

Israel gives warning before it strikes on enemy buildings-note the warning boom (referred to as a roof knock), and the actual strike about a minute later-designed to limit loss of life. There is no warning from Hamas, of course.

How did this cameraman know where to film? Typically the IDF calls the house, patches into its television or radio channels, and only then is a roof knock used, just before the strike-this guy had time to set up his camera, and he did.

To be fair one must remember that a country cannot allow this to happen to its people and that this would seem to justify the use of any means to stop the Palestinian people from allowing this to happen out of their midst.

Indeed. Watch those video clips and imagine the fear those innocent Israeli's are experiencing. How would we respond if that happened here? With great vengeance and furious anger, Samuel L. Jackson style.

Although there are those who will still criticize Israel regardless of the circumstances in defending itself. The Palestinians have made up their mind-again and again-to support Hamas. They have spoken-and its in favor of using children and innocents as shields and supporters of these terrorists.

More regional destabilization is a bad thing-many will die, and that is tragic.

My day started with a siren at 6:00AM, me and my wife (9 month pregnant with our first child) got up quickly, ran outside to the stairway quickly (don't forget the keys on the way out) and ran down to the first floor (our building don't have a concrete ceiling so the top floors are not safe), we managed to do this in ~40 seconds. Than the sirens went off, few seconds of silence, complete silence and then the first muffled explosion, interception (we can already make the difference), Iron Dome got this one, then another one and another one, the smiles of my neighbors change to a worried face, another one, I counted 5 already and then a very big explosion, this wasn't an interception, sounded like a shell hitting the ground and only few KMs away, a 20yr old neighbor started crying and panicing, her mom tried to make calm her down. A few minutes later we started spreading into our apartments, my next door neighbor forgot her keys, so she was locked out of her place....

Stay safe ido_ and congratulations and best wishes on the (sounds like very soon) arrival of your first baby. I hope everything goes well for you all.

Thats horrible, stay strong and be safe. You will have an interesting story to tell your child when he gets older.

At least 103 Palestinians -- the vast majority of whom are civilians -- have been killed and over 700 injured so far since a massive Israeli air and naval assault against the besieged Gaza Strip was launched on July 8. Homes, markets, and vital infrastructure have been targeted by the Israeli military, causing destruction and over 1,000 displaced people. This current attack is the bloodiest since an eight-day assault was launched by the Israeli military on Gaza in the November 2012 which left 177 Palestinians dead and over 1,300 wounded.

Its a shame that HAMAS brought this on its own people. And then declaring all Israeli's as legitimate targets is going to bring much more pain. If only HAMAS would stop hiding behind human shields-they could be sent to allah in short order.

Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy.

It seems like most, if not all, of our Israeli posters have had similar experiences. Must make it difficult to have sympathy for those engaged in the attacks yet frustrating that so many expect exactly that from you.

Congrats on the baby.

Perhaps thats good enough for you, or Stalin (who is credited with that line)-but its not for me.

The west values human life-I wish I could say the same about Islamists.

What are you talking about?? Indiscriminate firebombing in Vietnam, Tokyo, Dresden, the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the highly criticised drone program that kills far mor civilians than "alleged enemy combatants", the overthrow of democratically elected governments in favor of dictators.........................all refute your claim.

As of yesterday, there were 88 civilian deaths on the Palestinian side, and Israel had launched about 1300 airstrikes since the beginning of Protective Edge. That's a ratio of 22:325 or 6.77%; in other words, less than 7 civilian deaths for every 100 airstrikes performed. That sounds about as good as you can get when your enemy is attacking from densely populated areas.

Conventional wars, fought conventionally. Apples to oranges.

Its sad that you do not see the irony of showing videos of momentarily inconvenienced pool parties and weddings but find no sympathy, only justifications for the death of the 100+ people or so who have been killed so far, for the thousands of families with no convenient shelters to run to, and no one to protect them.

Sure the rockets do scare people, but to quote you, you are comparing apples to oranges.

One side is trying to shield civilians, the other is hiding behind them. Very much apples to oranges.

Even if Hamas is hiding behind them, I don't see why it would hurt you to be sympathetic to the fact that they are innocent people, and that they are the ones who are being killed and are the ones who are hurting the most.

Would it kill you to at least pretend to care about them?

Rockets are bad, but the inconvenienced pool parties and psychological suffering they cause do not begin to compare to the death and destruction being wrought on Gaza atm.

Who's being killed and who's hurting the most is one thing-WHY they are being killed and hurting is entirely another. These people elected HAMAS. These people shelter and glorify terrorists. These people pass out candy when innocents are killed.

As I said you are incapable of finding sympathy for "those people", even when it is children who are ending up dead, its amusing how quick you are to justify their deaths blaming it on Hamas, only to show the true reason as to why you don't care when confronted about it, and that is your desire for revenge.
