Well, Republicans just say so but don’t bother to present exculpatory evidence.
Most defendants & their attorneys do routinely plead “NOT GUILTY,” but it wouldn’t be acceptable for members of a jury to just accept the defense: “the prosecutors hate me” as sufficient evidence for acquittal.... This is a weird defense... the Black Lives Matter crowd should adopt this GOP defense strategy
Before the impeachment trial begins every senator will stand, raise their right hands and make the following oath:
From his ****-filled mouth:
There is video at CNN that I can't get a link to.
I give credit to this PoS, though. He's just saying what every other Republican intends to do and won't admit it.
So the Ukrainian President was lying when he said he never felt pressure from President Trump to investigate Biden or announce an investigation into Biden?
It is far worse than Watergate. Attempting to extort a foreign power to meddle in our elections is beyond anything Nixon tried to do.
There was no extortion, bribery, nor quid pro quo
Democratic members of congress said they would impeach Trump, long before the Ukraine story ever hit.
I think, for Mr. Trump, Republicans are using the kind of legal defense Black folks wish they could use in court: “Cops target us because they hate Black people.” And fellow black Judges & Jurors would automatically find all Black defendants NOT GUILTY’
:lamo:lamo:lamo
Maybe if you click your heels together as you repeat that chant over and over again it will make it come true.
Until that point in time trump got caught a d you just can't admit it to yourself...

Exculpatory evidence has already been presented, in the form of the call transcript and comments by Zelesky.
They told Trump 'we're going to get you', because they refused to accept the outcome of the election. This isn't Watergate big guy, the people will turn on you and the Dems for this.
Do you people even understand that Trump is continuing to commit felonies right now as you read this?
You're really itching for that civil war aren't you? IDK why considering how scared you all are of ANTIFA.
Trump isn't being charged with extortion, bribery, or QPQ. No charge, no crime.

Then I'll ask you...
Which article of impeachment was "extortion" again? I never saw the democrats present any evidence of it during their inquiries.
Speaking of the inquiries, what happened to the bribery charge the democrats kept saying Trump was guilty of? Which article of impeachment number is that one?
How about the "obstruction of justice" they swore Trump engaged in and said was absolutely proven based on the Mueller report? Surely that's one of the articles of impeachment... What article number was that one again?
.
Considering there is documented evidence and tapes of Queen Lindsey being as vocally anti-Trump as I am, back in 2016, I'm not surprised.
Moscow Mitch was on Fox with Hannity just two days ago. He was pushing his new book. It may not be the video you meant but it's pretty clear that Moscow Mitch has no intention of conducting a trial in the Senate according to protocol and in search of truth or justice.
"Everything I do during this, I'm coordinating with White House counsel. There will be no difference between the president's position and our position as to how to handle this to the extent that we can. We'll be working through this process hopefully in a fairly short period of time in total coordination with the White House counsel's office and the people who are representing the president in the well of the Senate."

Jan 2017
And there were many more Dem Reps who've stated the same. The Dems have looked so ridiculous over the last 3 years, they are like unpaid public relations spokesmen for Trump, making him look good by comparison.
Do you think that Americans are going to tolerate selective enforcement of our laws? How would you feel if your candidate had won, and Republican House members told you on day one that they would find a reason to impeach him/her?
So you're mad at Democrats for sticking to their promises? No wonder you love Trump.
"Russia, if you're listening..."
Good enough for me. And according to the Constitution, absolutely justifiable on that alone.
I DARE you or ANYONE, if you could go back in time to the early days of this republic, and utter something like that in the debates, and watch what would have likely happened.
PS: Mitch McConnell, January 2009, swore a vow to make sure to do everything in his power to make Obama fail.
Spoken like a true dyed in the wool Kentucky "nigger-hater" if ever there was one.
No wonder you love Mitch so much...it's like he's your BFF.
So, that flies entirely in the face of what McConnell plans to do -- i.e., shut it down before it even starts. You lower level cult members need to pay more attention to what your masters are doing.
Yes of course he was, he wanted to continue getting aid.
Why did he set a time on CNN to announce the investigation, then canceled when trump got caught???
And neither will the Dems. Before the impeachment trial begins every senator will stand, raise their right hands and make the following oath:
