Liberals lose in soccer dream

In a dream from this morning, I am watching a soccer game that is tied in the last few minutes of play. A player on one team is injured and taken out but the team only has non-players as replacements. They send out liberal actor and director Rob Reiner who is quickly injured and removed from the field. They send in another actor/director who meets the same fate. The other team scores and wins.

The dream may mean that the liberal elites, represented by Reiner, are not equipped to deal with the rough and tumble of real life and are losing. Given that soccer is an international sport, the dream may also suggest that liberal values are being defeated in the world arena.

While I would typify any dream featuring lib-progs a nightmare, yours turned out well, especially with Reiner - the original Meatball - stepping in only to be horribly injured.

Perhaps your dream was actually a warning that DeSantis is not a viable candidate.

This thread reminded me that I don't have sportsball dreams that often; and least not that I can remember. I think that this is probably because I don't like sportsball that much. I did have a pretty good dream in which I was jogging but not getting out of breath. It was actually kind of fun. Most joggers that I see have their faces twisted into an expression of agony, though, so maybe it's not fun.

This shows how I'm a slave to reality. I thought the title was "US loses in soccer dream," meaning the US women lost a game in their dream to win the Cup.

Then I started reading the OP only to realize this is a supposed dream the poster had about Meathead and soccer and liberals. :unsure:

Not sure, but it was a whitening toothpaste. There were grass stains on my feet. Heck, maybe I was one of those liberal soccer players.
