COLOMBIA’s President says US Government (Trump) “committed murder” and bombed a fisherman with no ties to drugs

"Colombia's president, Gustavo Petro, has accused Washington of "murder" after the U.S. military struck an alleged drug-trafficking vessel last month.

Petro said the White House had violated the South American country's sovereignty and killed a Colombian fisherman, named by the president as Alejandro Carranza. Colombian media reported Carranza was onboard a boat targeted by U.S. forces on September 15."

And Emperor/MAGA Baby Trumpatine wished Petro into the cornfield.

In other words: shat on another U.S. ally.

Trumpists have an affinity for the 10 Commandments.

If only one of them covered this.

But alas, anything that deviates from the glorious God King Trump, is just "Liberal" fake news.

He is the way, the truth and the light.

Amen.

The fact they returned the two Venezuelans who survived the last attack is worrisome. Hegesth unleashed is my view. Way to macho and ego driven for the job he is in.

If Charlie Kirk (or someone of similar complexion) had been on those boats, the right would be falling over themselves to talk about how terrible violence is.

Trump accused Petro on social media of "strongly encouraging the massive production of drugs." The United States will stop large-scale payments and subsidies to Colombia, Trump wrote on Truth Social.
~~
The ship was a rebel ship that also was dual use smuggling.
~~

So maybe it was and maybe it wasn't or maybe the CIA wanted to use the pretext of smuggling to take it out as a way to go after Petro.
Who knows?
It's all tied up in regime change / drug warfare /black box CIA Ops.....absolutely no way to know

The US says that about any Latin American leader it doesn’t like, so that is throughly meaningless.

US government=largest terrorist organization on planet Earth?

Awful how Trumpers support this nonsense.

The US says that about any Latin American leader it doesn’t like, so that is throughly meaningless.
it's true however
Colombia is fighting its own longstanding drug problems. Last year, Petro pledged to tame coca-growing regions in the country with massive social and military intervention, but the strategy has brought little success.

None of what you write justifies murdering innocent fishers

The point is these random bombings need proper oversight. Certainly you agree

Saying “it’s true” and then quoting Pete “Wounded Knee was Heroic” Hegseth is not evidence, sorry

If Petro was “strongly encouraging the smuggling of drugs” he wouldn’t be fighting them, now would he.

Probably war crimes, Probably pardons and trump will claim official acts.

Its customary to produce evidence of a crime when killing people on the high seas, or elsewhere.

Its customary to produce evidence of a crime when killing people on the high seas, or elsewhere.

It’s also customary for a President to divest himself of business interests so as to avoid conflicts of interest.

Conservatives have no interest in conserving the old ways.

Would love to see TACO held accountable for innocent lives. It's not during a war tho, altho has TACO declared war against Venezuela?

Because it would be great if he could be charged as a war criminal and subject to international sanctions. Is there something else he could be charged with, internationally?
