Leftist Hypocrisy On Pot

Start? It doesn't start at all.

It does EXACTLY what I already called you out about. Bringing up a Obama, The Colorado Senate, or Bloomberg...these are small pockets of SOME hypocrisy, not even the hypocrisy levels that you are talking about. There's not a push from any of those listed to fully make illegal cigarettes.

I could go after the other obvious anti-marijuana propaganda that is blatantly misleading. But I want to see how long you'll continue to deny the obvious on this single point: The vast majority of liberals who favor legalizing marijuana also favor keeping cigarettes legal.
That can be true without making what I claim, that all the efforts to ban smoking comes from the Left, untrue.

And apparently you didn't read the link: "Got that? The same president who signed into law a tough federal anti-cigarette smoking bill in 2009 now supports marijuana legalization."

You are portraying this as an inditement on the left as a whole, that's obviously the gist of where this comes from, BECAUSE there's no other reason to quibble over such a banal matter of a few hypocrisies. As if the right doesn't have similar hypocrites in their ranks, though on different matters. There's nothing inherent in liberalism that requires a ban on cigs and legalization on pot, the hypocrisy comes from a few individuals, not the overall ideology.

PS: The anti-smoking law didn't make cigs illegal. And Republicans voted for it too.
