TFG was an illegitimate POTUS. He asked for and received help from an enemy of the United States, to obtain the office & abused it while he held it. Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett are illegitimate. Our census count is illegitimate. Governors Kemp and DeSantis are

Who are the the Dems going to vote of the island? Will be interesting.

Conservative voters leaving battleground states for southern red states. You do the math.

Some folks are speculating that Trump's efforts to not count immigrants may have cost both Texas and Florida an additional seat.

Since the Trump administration is on record as basically never doing anything right and generally shooting himself in foot, this wouldn't surprise me.

That was President Trump playing zero-dimension chess. Incredibly stupid and cost us another Congressional seat here in Texas.

The census was rigged!!!!!! Demand a recount!!!! Count every person!!!! Take 'em to court!!!!!!

That kind of meltdown?

How does one know what the political affiliation is for the growth in the States that gained a seat? Migration from State to State is not usually politically based, it's usually for economic reasons. I recall someone posting about migration out of NYC and CA because of house prices. Don't be sure those moving to Texas and Florida aren't Democrats.

You haven't heard? George Soros is paying moving expenses for dems to move to con states.

The only poll I am aware of that may address the political affiliation of those who moved to Texas this last decade was one taken after the Beto-Cruz race in 2018. Native Texans voted for Beto while Cruz got a majority of those not born in the state.

The reapportionment could have been much worse for Democrats, with TX and FL gaining one less seat than expected.

Still, GOPs have exclusive control over 180 seats while DEMs only have 70.

Here in IL, we should stop gerrymandering when the GOPs stop GMing in TX, FL, NC, GA, SC, TN, KY, MO, AL, UT, OK, and LA.

IMO, at least by that one perspective, being the prevention of 2 add'l Dem House seats.
