Leaving the GOP

He never needed to lie about anything. He always needed to be a good person. But he chose to evil. He chose to lie. He could have chosen the right way instead of the wrong way and the good instead of the bad. It is 100% his fault that he always was and still is an awful piece of human garbage.

The real problem being, of course, that he didn't have the slightest clue as to what was true and what was not. Whatever passed on front of his eyes at any particular time he considered to be true (FOX).

I have very little respect for demands. Especially demands from an anonymous person.

Yes, we see that you are using one lame excuse after another to avoid answering it. What are you so afraid of?

If you have anything to say to rebut anything I've said in this thread, have at it.

They have injured democracy, and that affects us ALL in a negative manner.

Over my head. Please explain how democracy has been injured.
Thank you for admitting that Biden has not hurt you personally.

I did not admit anything of the kind! He has already hurt people by destroying their jobs. He may not have hurt me yet but it is his intention to do just that.

Did Biden go to your workplace and fire you?

If it is truly over your head as you claim, then no amount of explanation from me will correct that.

Any educated voter who is able to think critically, intelligently, and logically has absolutely no difficulty figuring out which political news sources are good and bad just by reading their websites articles about the rattlesnake. If someone truly can't tell the difference, he or she never took American history and government classes in high school like I did.

After about two years of Joe, they’ll be plenty of common sense Democrats saying “My God, why did I buy the BS and vote for this clown?”.
No one would expect anything other from the standard mentality of your commentary. "Conjure up some more bullshit", It's likely the highlight of your day to do so.

There is no GOP. There is only the Cult of Donald Trump.

That does sum it up. How could any "conservative" stay with a party that licks boots? I left that crap behind over a decade ago. It's good to see others begin waking up to the fact that "freedom" is the opposite of the GOP these days. Ask Liz Cheney just how "free" that party is today.

Fealty to Trump? No thanks.

The only reasons I'm still registered as Republican is two reasons:

1. They're the only major party that supports gun rights.

2. I'm lazy and haven't got around to changing my registration as my state requires me to be either Democrat or Republican to vote in the primaries.

No matter how bad Joe is he can never be as bad as the orange idiot.

Both parties support gun rights. However, one party enables gun zealots while the other prefers to seek reasonable efforts to control the weapons, you know, as is written in the Constitution: "well regulated."

I live in an open primary state. It's the best kind of state, IMO.

TBH, I'll be ok with a lot of the proposals if they drop the so called assault weapons ban talk. Even our Canadian and most European allies allow private ownership of such firearms.

I'd like to see a more clear definition of "assault" weapon before agreeing to a ban on them myself. Congress tends to suck at doing that though. Laws are written so vague that I almost suspect it's intentional, like maybe it's some kind of a make-work program for lawyers.

assault weapons are designed specifically to kill humans ............ and lots of them at one time.

military designations .........

Then again Lt Col Oliver North and Gen Richard Secord were able to procure military assault weapons to sell to the Contras using Iran as a middle man...... thanks Reagan/Bush.

Wimp Kevin McCarthy really has his tit in a ringer now. He has cancelled his scheduled closed door meeting with his caucus. He is afraid to get his own caucus all in the same room behind closed doors for GOD SAKE!!!

Kevin you are a joke as a Party Leader. You always were.

Your Party becomes more of a laughing stock by the day and is actually no longer a political party anyway. If anything its a radical right wing terrorist organization if its anything.

And you have been seen traveling to Florida to genuflect before the all time whack job of American Political History who you seem utterly incapable of cutting ties with, Donald J. Trump. Go ahead Kevin, tie the boat anchor of the sickest man to ever reside in the WH around your neck and go swimming off South Florida.

That’s the kind of vague, lazy thinking they’re talking about. Your first sentence can literally be applied to every firearm ever made except possibly some that are purpose built for shooting competitions.

You’re second literally applies to no civilian owned “assault rifles” though it may well apply to a large number of commonly owned handguns, shotguns and hunting rifles.

What party did you join, now?

147 House Republicans voted to reject the certifications, and all but a few very lone Republicans, along with right wing media, propagated the lie that Biden stole the election. At best, like McConnell, they simply remained silent while the lie was told over and over again.

And now, Republicans won't convict trump for inciting a violent insurrection that would have killed them.

If not for Democrats, judges and a handful of very brave DC policemen, the insurrection would have succeeded in one form or another. The insurrection was a Republican team effort months in the making.

Democracy won out in the end, but that's only because Republicans as a whole lost in their attempt to destroy it.

"147 House Republicans voted to reject the certifications"

Nice support, unity, for their fellow State Republicans who presided over a very difficult election. Along with the many hard working poll workers who vote Republican.

Would anyone want these GOP U.S. congressman and women backing them up in war, or a dangerous situation?

The 147, Under the bus throwers. All for themselves trumpians

Trump has certainly exposed wishy/ washy spineless GOP congressmen and women. McCarthy, Lindsay Graham, Susan Collins to name a few.
